Fellow Georgian Jimmuh Cahta wants Mitt to be the GOP nominee! That's what Jimmuh told Rachel Maddow.

Maybe the Democrat Party is trying to control the nomination.  big_smile

Oh well, I wasn't for Mitt anyway - that seals it.  (Sorry, habee!  lol  lol )

My sister lived in Georgia at the time Carter was nominated for the presidency.  Even though she leans towards the DP, she said the people in GA (then) didn't especially like him.  That may have only been her own friends - and I'm not sure it included her!

I'm still hoping for a dark horse to show up.  I don't like the field so far.  sad

Nobody I know in GA liked Carter as POTUS, even though my mom went to his inaugural ball because she was invited. People did like him as a person, however.

I can understand that.  I thought he was an inspiring person too. - And congrats to your mom!!

None of the GOP seven dwarf candidates can beat Obama.

I'll pretend for this one post only that you are assuming Ron Paul switches parties in the next few months.

If he did so, we'd finally have a federally funded 3rd Party.
