            We (cubans) killed their cinema, given that they exported their cartoons to Cuba and no one ever bothered to translate them to Spanish. And because they repeated the same cartoons every day we ended up memorizing the lines and attempting to establish conversations with the Soviets that lived in Cuba. Not much of a conversation there . . . They'd ask us something like "Where's this bus headed?" in Russian, and we'd respond "I'm going to the Milky Way to get milk for Maia!"

            One of the many things that didn't help communism succeed.
