"When will You hear the Church applaud Alexander the Great for introducing democracy to the world? When will You hear the Church recognize that Jesus Christ manifests the Spirit and Face of Esau?

The victory belongs to the Christians, who recognize that Jesus is the Lord God Almighty, and that the original and Latin name of Esau is Jesus.

Jesus is the sword of Esau, compare with 1 Chronicles 21:16, Hebrews 4:12, Revelation 1:16, and Revelation 12:5."

I'm with Brenda.. Christianity is the ONLY religion where our God actually came to earth in human form, died for our sins, rose from the dead, appeared among His disciples for a time, then ascended to Heaven once again.

The 'picture' of which you speak is inconsequential, what Jesus looks like or nationality are irrelevant, Christ is much more than an image. The fact that you make jokes about his nationality and image shows how much you lack in knowledge of the Bible. It states that Jesus was a Nazarene, allowing his hair and beard to grow, and he traveled the European continent preaching and performing miracles.

I had a friend a long time ago named Jesus. Most of the time we called him Jessie, but every now and then we referred to him as God. I should point out that the reference was part of a phrase that went something like "...damned little weasel!" Haven't seen Jessie in a long time; he still owes me a bunch of poker winnings.

We're all right and we're all wrong. We seek something greater and haven't realized yet, that it's an illusion of the ego. If we can say we've found the answer, we can have the undivided attention of others. I call it pedestal syndrome.

        Pedestal syndrome:

A disease of the mind/ego connection, with almost Munchausen like symptoms.

        a) The overwhelming drive to lead or guide others.

        b) A reaction to having been given to much power or sway over others.

        c) The belief that one's idea, is better than another or that one has the answer and others don't.

    According to me, Christ Jesus (Hebrews 13:8) is what the Bible claims and declares Him to be- "the Almighty Good Lord God the Son, Incarnate, Perfect Man and All in all";

    1. Almighty (Exodus 6:2-3; Revelation 1:7-8, 11A, 17-18; 2:8; 21:6; 22:12-13, 20);   2. Good (Matthew 19:16; Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18; John 10:11, 14);   3. Lord (Philippians 2:9-11; Acts 10:36; Philippians 3:21; II Corinthians 10:5);   4. God (John 20:28; John 5:18; Philippians 2:5-6; John 10:30-33; Titus 2:13; John 1:1);   5. the Son (Hebrews 1:8; Psalm 2:11-12; Romans 8:3, 32);   6. Incarnate (I Timothy 3:16; Philippians 2:7-8; John 1:14; Acts 20:28; I John 4:1-3; II John 1:7; Colossians 2:9);   7. Perfect Man (II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; 2:10);   8. All in all (Colossians 3:11; 2:10; Ephesians 1:23; Psalm 23:1; Genesis 22:14; Philippians 4:19; II Corinthians 1:19-20);

So, what else do we need "inside" Jesus? None!!!

      John 8

" 31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered.

“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did.

40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.

41 You are doing the works of your own father.”

“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.

43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.

44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?

47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

      Jesus’ Claims About Himself

48 The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”

49 “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me.

50 I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.

51 Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

42 They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

when I attempt to undertsand what he is saying it appears to me that he only claims to be the son of God within the context that everyone is the child of God.  If you take the teachings at face value, you have to concoct some miracles to lend divinity.  With or without a paternity test and miracles aside, it can be easily argued that noone has had a greater impact on history.

Jesus is a great preacher and a great teacher. His teaching has not been obsolete since.

To be a good man is to follow Jesus' teachings. To be with God in heaven is to follow Jesus' footsteps.

Let's not be arrogant to insist we can do everything on our own will. We are designed to be like God because we came from God.

Think about it. We are created in his image and "LIKENESS".

Likeness, the same, which means we can do godly things if we want to but we must do these according to Jesus' teachings.

Yahuwshuwa came and died for us as the perfect sacrifice. There never was the name Jesus until about 400 years ago, there were no J's (check a 1611 KJV - no J's). Our Messiah was a Hebrew with a Hebrew name. His name, Yahuwshuwa means YaHuWaH is Salvation. YaHuWaH (YHWH) being His Father's name. Yahuwshuwa is the only name that saves.

Act 4:12  “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”

Maybe we wonder why He has a lot of names.I think the purpose was we live in different world we can call His name on our own language or dialect for us to understand each other.Using a lot of names it doesn't matter to Him, what matter is our heart, our soul, if we live in this world according to His will. Our faith that lead us to continue to persevere and to hope.

angel, amen. I think to call Jesus with original name is legal one. He is our attorney. Here is the point. We are using His name as legal matter. He was born here on the earth via birth canal. Then He has dual citizenship, heavenly and earthly. It gave Him an authority on this planet. Name of Y (or Jesus) remains devil who is blocking our blessings.  But I do understand that using the Messiah name either YeHoshyVaH or Jesus, devil understands it and I seen him he shakes. I found in Israel Today Magazine that God has 100 names and Jesus 99. Interesting. Abraham knew God under the name of ElShaddai, all sufficient One. Actually Yeshuvah ministered under Abrahamic Covenant. It is covenant of Grace and plenty.

@abihahyil correction Yahuwshuwa came and died for us as the perfect sacrifice is belief like 400 other believes which exist in the world...

    From my dear sister:

    YaHuWaH and Yahuwshuwa are one.

"I and and My Father are one." (Yahuwkhanan/John 10:30)

"Yahuwshuwa said to him, 'I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (Yahuwkhanan/John 14:6)

Just as a husband and wife are 'one' yet two beings, so it is with our Father and His Son.

"And I do not pray for these alone, but also for those believing in Me through their word, so that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me. And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one, I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me."(Yahuwkhanan/John 17:20-23)

"Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Master. Because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Mashiyah/Messiah is head of the assembly, and His is Saviour of the Body. But as the assembly is subject to Mashiyah, so also let the wives be to their own husbands in every respect. Husbands, love your wives, as Mashiyah also loved the assembly and gave Himself for it, in order to set it apart and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, in order to present it to Himself a splendid assembly, not having spot or wrinkle or any of this sort, but that it might be set-apart and blameless. In this way husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but feeds and cherishes it, as also the Master does the assembly. Because we are members of His Body, of His flesh and of His bones. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. >>>>This secret is great, but I speak concerning Mashiyah and the assembly.<<<<" (Ephsiyim/Ephesians 5:22-32

The Father is greater than the Son.

"You heard that I said to you, 'I am going away and I am coming to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I." (Yahuwkhanan/John 14:28)

"then the end, when He (Yahuwshuwa) delivers up the reign to Aluwhym the Father, when He has brought to naught all rule and all authority and power. For He has to reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be brought to naught is death. For “He has put all under His feet.” But when He says “all are put under Him,” it is clear that He who put all under Him is excepted. And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, in order that Aluwhym be all in all." (Korintiyim Aleph/1 Corinthians 15:24-28)

The name Jesus is firstly, incorrect.
The attachment of Christ Jesus is misinterpreted making it also incorrect.
Christ translates anointing or anointed of (it is a descriptive adjective not a title)

Y`shua (Yeshua, Joshua) is more accurate. Going further Y`shua Moshiach.

myth : because of the many stories due to religious doctrine
man elevated to god : also because of doctrine, especially Roman/Greek theistic concepts
son of god : yes, as all humans are
prophet of allah : no, the last prophet was Yon the Baptizer.
    god : see #3
Jew Rabbi : not in the literal sense, where he obtained his PhD in Hebrew theology, but certainly according to social measures back in the day, would be considered a Rabbi or Teacher and a Jew by birth, observance of Jewish custom.

Many use the term: He and the Father were one, meaning He was the totality or Creator himself, which is also incorrect. Why? The Breath cannot separate itself from the breath(s), so they are always one. Again, his own words say this: Be like the Father in every way ... and you too will be one, even as we [Father & son] are one.

jacharless James, then who is Jesus personally to you?

        Hello Vlad.
Regarding a 'personal' revere for the man, I cannot say I have one on a personal level. I never knew him. Only what he did on behalf of humanity.
That, I hold in higher regard than the generalized 'personal' (pseudo) relationship. In all honesty, I am glad I never knew him and am able to concede a gift given with no questions asked and nothing expected in return.
        James.
