Have all republicans been infected with the Dittohead virus?

   This disease seems to be spreading like wildfire, it's becoming harder and harder to find a republican who hasn't contracted this very contagious disease.I  made the mistake of commenting on a hub by a right wing loon hubber and  he and his, in the words of Curtis Sliwa sickle fence toties and lackeys jumped on me like a pack of hungry hyenas on a carcass and  gave me all kinds of warnings.If I write a hub I love the fact that both people who agree and disagree with me read and make comments, and all are welcome,  are all republicans the dittoheads that call limbaugh to tell him how much they agree with him and only talk among each other with no interest in what the other side has to say?

      I read the hub in question and your comments.  I concur with your comments and the author had no right to personally and ethnically attack you.  This is quite immature in addition to being inanely egregious.   If the author did not want disagreements, maybe the author should not be a writer in a forum like environment.  Ergo, when one writes an article in a forum which is open to the public, there are going to be disagreements now and then. Now I have said my piece!

         you are correct,I was reading his article and since I saw the statue of liberty covering her face I just commented thet while for him she was covering her face for one reason for me she was doing it for another.I value your comments and your opinion even if they are opposite of mine.

      Apparently, some people do not want disagreement in this place.  It's no different than the group think in the larger society. 
      
      Since Rush has said racist things in the past, it only follows that the people who call themselves dittoheads tell us whether they agree with him or not.  Is health care reform about "reparations?  Is Obama an "angry black man?"  Rush has said these things and more.

   I've had that experience too. Or they will just remove my comment.
   So, now I don't even bother to read them.
   They have made it very clear that I am not welcome in their world.
   
   Oh--but we have to be civil....or we are called "the problem". Mirror mirror on the wall....
   
   Watch for it with the election....Obama has been subject to years of abuse and lies...but watch how they will attack him for fighting back.

         True...but you also can't have a dialogue with people who see black as white and blue as green, according to your perception of the truth. This is a dis-connect that cannot be bridged.
         
         For instance, saying a fertilized egg is just as human as you or I. That cannot be bridged.
         Global warming is not caused by man....that cannot be bridged.
         There is no discrimination anywhere...everyone it treated equal here. That cannot be bridged.
         
         It's like 2 walls coming against each other. Only thing they can do is bump heads.

               When have you EVER seen a Speaker of the House scream like that?
               
               And when has anyone EVER stood up during a sotu speech and tell the president You Lie?
               
               When has a Speaker told THE PRESIDENT he was too busy to meet with him, or refuse to go to a presidential speech after an American tragedy? (Giffords shooting....Boner was a-wol)
