    2 Questions

I have created links to other Hubs and my HubKarma Score is now 100. It seems that since I reached 100 the tool will not let me add anymore links. I have 3-4 Hubs that have no links to other Hubs on them. Is this normal? Is there anyway to allow me to create links?

How do I link to an outside site? I understand I can add a link capsule, but how do I create a link imbedded in the text?

That may be a good thing!

HubKarma is an old feature.  It's no longer displayed publicly, and it makes no difference to your earnings. It also makes very little difference to your Hubber Score - look at my Hubber Score, and I rarely link to other Hubs!

The bottom line is, you should never link to another Hub just to improve your HubKarma - you'll only annoy your readers by sending them on a wild goose chase. Link to another Hub because it adds real value, or expands on a topic better than you can.

Adding too many links also creates a future headache for you, as Hubs get deleted and you have to fix all the broken links.

...as many of the suggested links are keyed to random words in your text and are not actually relevant to you Hub topic.  This can have a significant negative impact on how Google views your Hubs.

Run your mouse over the word or words(highlighted via click and drag) you want to embed the link into, then click on the "chain-link" icon, it is next to the "broken-chain link" icon, at the top of your text capsule. It should be at top of the white box and to the right.

When you click on it, a window should pop up and allow you to enter the link you choose. Close the pop up and your done. Please do yourself a favor and make sure it's a relevant word to the link you're going to use.

As for HubKarma, don't worry about.

@Cags - where do we see our Hub Karma score?  I see it mentioned, but I have no idea where to find it.  Thanks!

Marcy, go to any hub. Click on the suggest links. It will display a box on the right of the hub and tell you at the top.

Thanks, Cags!  I will check that out - I like good Karma.

I'm still not seeing a Karma score.  I checked one hub where I'd linked to related hubs or sites, and all it did was to highlight the links in place.  Then I checked another that had no links, and still no score.  It sounds like from the discussion above that the Karma thing has changed a bit.  Thanks for letting me know where it originally resided!

stop worrying about score and concentrate on relevancy

All my links are relevant - I've just never been able to figure out where the Karma score hides, or even what it is. Looks like I'm following good Karmic Law, though; I never link anything not directly related to content.

Hi Marcy, When I click on suggest links in my Hubs it shows Hub Karma score every time, funny you're not getting the same.
