Let's see how creative and competitive we all are...
Can you write 24 hubs in 24 hours on these topics?
1. Teaching a child to cook
2. Celebrity tatoo's
3. Forex Trading
4. 10 best writers communities
5. Movies that freaked you out
6. Learning a new trade
7. IQ tests
8. Famous Qoutes
9. Best plays in the last decade
10. Summer activites we love to hate
You can use the same topic as many times as you like...
Lets see who can get the most creative and keep in mind this is a great way to boost your rating and fans.
Have fun... this is all in good fun.
Didn't we have enough of spewing hubs with the last challenge? Why can we just write good hubs? This fast hub thing will soon come with an order of fries.
I agree with you there Pete.
Especially as this challenge comes from some one who was written 7 hubs in 6 weeks.
24 hubs in 24 hours - who could write anything but garbage in that time frame?
I tried to write a number of hubs in 24 hours, came up with 4. To produce good quality content, and not rubbish, One in 24 hours is an adequate result. Try it if you want, but many found it difficult writing 100 in 30 days.
fraidy cats... anyways, I couldnt do it either, lol. Just wanted to see if there was anyone who could out of curiousity.
I've actually been doing a lot of research on different topics and challenges like these are part of it.
Oh and I've only put out a few hubs myself because I'm not on here often to busy writing in the real world for print publications Mark. LMAO.... I'm a workaholic or rather a "writeaholic" so I don't always have a lot of time to get on here, although I would like to because I have met some great writers and people. I like to join communities like these as a way to take a break but as a tool also... who doesnt?
what is it one of thoughs 24hour things, LOL
takes me minimum 3-4 hours to create a hub, that's without research. You will end up with crap.
oh dear--i saw the word 'challenge' and I had a nervous break down
don't ever say that word in here again lol
Bad timing, Vkent. You probably don't know that HubPages ran its own challenge recently and while it caused a burst of creativity in some, it caused a fair bit of angst as well - so you're catching the tail end of that reaction.
In any case, the HP team does a good job of creating challenges and subject ideas on its own, and more importantly, they have usually done the research when they suggest topics - so you know they have a decent chance of earning income. So if I were you I'd leave it to them!
Goodness, I have enough trouble writing one good hub! I could never do a 24 in 24 hours.
vkent, I'm not the least bit competitive, and - boy - I'm about all challenged out (not by HubPages, but by life in general). (As you say you do, I write on assignment for work. HubPages is where is write for myself. Interesting idea for anyone who likes challenges, though.)

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...

Did you find the "30 hubs in 30 days challenge" worthwhile?I've been contemplating doing 30 hubs in 30 days, but I'm not sure it's worth the stress. I'm sure I could come up with 30 hub ideas, it's finding the time to do it that worries me. That's a lot of effort for an old man!

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating your hubs or 30 hubs in 60 days. I tried the original once, and I failed...

Hi everybody!I just joined this community yesterday in hopes of not completely wasting my winter break. I see that a lot of you have hundreds of hubs in place.. how long do you spend making them on average?I'm a full-time university student and really don't want this taking up too much of my time,...

Why isn't my last published hub showing up in my profile page?Usually, as soon as I publish an hub it shows up in the hubs section (top) of my profile page, but yesterday I published one and nothing... Anyone experiencing the same?

There is a lot of anger and/or frustration relating to the 'pending' system and most of it is down to the fact that it's not clear why there are exceptions - this is justified and there should be open-ness. (Note this only is aimed at new hubs, not hubs that become un-featured later)One way to do...
