      Type the first line of your hubs in Google. That's how I found other hubs of mine had been copied.

   That blog site is owned and hosted by Google.
   
   Go to this link and check the first item on the list: Blogger/Blogspot
   https://support.google.com/legal/troubl … 14905?rd=2
   Follow the instructions from there to file the DMCA request to have them stop hosting the site.
   
   Then, go to this link, sign in to your Webmaster Tools account, and fill out the form to have the blog removed from search engine results:
   
   https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/dmca-notice
   
   Don't be surprised if you get an email back asking for more information.  Just give it to them again.
   
   It can take up to a week to remove the blog. When the blog has been removed, go to the first link again, choose Web Search, and have the cache copy of the blog removed.
   
   To remove the cache of your Hubs on Bing/Yahoo:
   http://www.bing.com/webmaster/help/bing … l-cb6c294d
   
   It can take 24 – 48 hours for the cache removal process.

         I have had to file many DMCA reports over the years, and always with success.  It is rotten what folks will do, but it does take the effort of us to combat it by filing the DMCA reports/requests.

            I know. Its very frustrating. You spend a lot of time researching, writing and editing and then someone just steals it! I filled the DMCA right away.

      I got a copyright notice from Hubpages and followed it. I periodically copy past a sentence from my hubs and put them in the google search.

         I tried this with about three lines of text, with a hub already marked in my hp account... and found 6 places where my content has been copied and pasted, not the 1 that hp shows. Hmmmm...

            HP uses a different method to find copies. So that means you have at least 7 copies out there. Get busy with those DMCA reports. Don't let these thieves screw you.

   As an extra bit of information relating to this forum topic:  I'm having a lot of trouble getting Google to remove a plagiarized article in blogspot. It was taken from an article that later had its URL changed because it was selected as Editor's Choice. I have a feeling that Google thinks my EC hub came later than the copy. It looks that way since the URL was changed from my subdomain to the home HubPages domain. This may become an issue with EC hubs.

         It's been 20 days already. I filed the DMCA a second time with more info about the reason for changing the URL. I don't know if Google is aware of what HubPages is doing with EC hubs. So I explained it in the second DMCA and noted the actual publish date. In the past, getting things removed from blogspot took only a couple of days since Google has direct control over it. I never got an email from them about this latest one after filing the DMCA. 20 days seems a long time.

            20 days is way too long!  The most I've waited for them to remove something is about seven days, and that includes exchanging-email time. You might want to post on this forum:

               Thanks. But I looked and I don't see an option to report a problem with plagiarism there. The only place for that is the DMCA online form on Google, which I already used (twice).

                  It's a forum for the use of Blogger/Blogspot and you can post there about your DMCA problem.  Often an employee will answer.

                     Thanks again Writer Fox. I'll examine that closer and see where it would fit in. And I have to express the situation in a way that it will be understood. EC is an unusual thing. So I'll plan my strategy before posting there. But I also plan to post a full description of the potential issue with EC hubs being stolen in the problem forum. WIll do that soon. Busy with so many things today.

                        In the product forum, all you really have to say is that you had changed the URL on the webpage and give the date or something.  Like you, I wouldn't even want to try to explain the EC thing!

      It does take a while to take down content from Blogger and Blogspot.  Often they send me an email wanting more information.  You can always point to the date of the first comment to establish your authorship.  Also, if you always post a new Hub on your Google+ account, this will establish a date, too. I don't know how changing URLs will affect your DMCA request.  It's very unusual for a website to change URLs unless the whole site is moving elsewhere.

    One of the first things any prudent Internet publisher does before moving content (either from one website to another or within a website to a new URL) is to do a final check for plagiarism.  Unfortunately, the EC Hubs were given no advanced notice that the Hubs would move to new URLs.

    Success!  I resubmitted my DMCA complaint using Google's general form for copyright infringement. Google deleted the copy in less than 18 hours.   
    
    When a hub is flagged there are DMCA instructions at the top of your hub when you are logged in. Anyone who has hubs stolen and posted in Blogger/Blogspot should not use the form that is presently linked from those instructions. The form that finally worked for me is at ...

          Tess, is yours the same situation? -- A copy in Blogspot? Google can't delete it if it's on some other site. They can only remove the index from the SERPs. If it's on another site you need to file a DMCA with the hosting service of the site.

             It appears that google has removed from the search engine. I can't find who the hosting service is for that site, but I believe it's down now, only for me to find on a business New U at 92 on Facebook. Unbelievable.
