Is this for all accounts or just because I used my new one that came from Squidoo? It takes me almost 4 days to put a hub together. So, I just finished one today and started on a new one. When I wanted to save it unpublished, it told me that I could only create 1 hub a day.

I've never seen this warning before. Does it happen on all accounts or just new ones?

I thought it was 3.  And, that number wasn't supposed to include editing Hubs transferred from Squidoo.

I haven't seen an announcement about limiting publishing to only one a day.

Looks like the one Hub-per-day limit is if your new account here is still in Boot Camp, i.e., has less than 5 published Hubs.

I read the info from the link you shared. You are right and it is only temporary.Whew!

Good to know. (Not that I've ever published more than one in a day!!)

Just wanted to confirm that this is a temporary restriction put in place as a safety measure. It's only for transferred accounts and the limit is 1 Hub per day if you're in Boot Camp, and 3 Hubs per day if you're out of Boot Camp.

Barbara, were you able to successfully save that Hub as unpublished? If not, let me know as that sounds like a bug.

No. It basically froze and I lost all of my work.

Marina, It was Free Crochet Men's Hat Patterns under the account Hooks and Needles. It is still unpublished of course.

Thanks, Barbara. I have reported this to engineering and will let you know when I hear back. If you have the time, as a test, could you try saving another unpublished Hub? You could create one with just a title, for instance, and try to save it unpublished. If the problem persists, we'll at least know that it wasn't a temporary glitch.

I tried another one and got the same message when I tried to save it. It is the account Hooks and Needles. Hopefully, it is just my account.

Thanks so much for your patience, Barbara. It turns out that this is a bug but a fix will be out soon. I'll post an update when it is.

This is the first I've heard about it, but now I'm curious.

It might be because I am in Boot Camp now since it is a new account transferred from Squidoo. I hope so. I didn't even know that you were only allowed 3 a day and I've been here 4 years.

Good to know this information. I have so many hubs in the pipeline to finish up and would likely be publishing a few on a day or two even though I've been working on them for a month or two.
