My most recent hub was flagged for duplicate content by an automated system. I have read my e-mail, the Learning Center, and the "help boxes". They all tell me, "This Hub seems to contain text that also appears on another page and may be unpublished as a result. If you revise the content so that it is unique to this Hub, it will automatically be rechecked for duplication."
How do I find out what parts of my hub it thinks is duplicated or where it thinks the text was duplicated from? I didn't consciously use content from other websites, but I understand mistakes can happen and I'd like to get this cleared up.
The hub was published on March 27, 2015 and flagged on March 29, 2015.
Please let me know if you need more information.
Edit: It would appear the algorithm picked up on a match between a known copying website (2uidea) and my hub. I am displeased!
This is a known issue on which we are working.
There is another forum thread here.

Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for your patience!
Please email us at team@hubpages.com if you have any further questions.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Wikibox". I don't think I have any of those. However, I have since found the website the algorithm thinks my content was copied from. I published it first. I know because they linked back to me.
That is Wikipedia, a source of good information if you type in who or what you are seeking into Google and type wiki after it, you will be carried to Wikipedia and read information on the subject. I deleted one box off of a second hub that their auto flagger tagged and Hp cleared it for publication. Right now, I do not know if WE can use Wikipedia or not.
Hi Kenneth. Are you saying that you quoted a passage from wikipedia and the quote was auto-flagged as duplicate? That is a somewhat common occurrence. If that is what has happened to your hubs, for a possible solution that might allow you to use a quote in your article without it triggering a duplication notice, check out the posts from myself and Sue Adams in this forum thread:

SmartandFun:
I Deleted the only Wikipedia box from my 2nd flagged hub that had a Wikipedia box and the hub was cleared to be published. The first hub that was flagged, I was NOT told it was the Wiki box causing the problem. They just said revise hub and resubmit for publication. Revise what?
I wrote the hub only hours before it was flagged. How could it be duplicated?
Was it stolen by the 2uidea site before it went to QAP? This happened to quite a lot of hubs that were published within the last two weeks. Check the site www(dot)2uidea(dot)com for your hub. This thief was stealing and posting articles as soon as they were published, before they were seen by HP raters, so the thief's stolen article technically made it onto the web first, before the author's original article did. There is a thread about it here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/129636
Matt at teamhubpages.com just emailed me and said m Wikipedia was necessarily the problem. I asked him if I could or could not use Wikipedia for hubs. He has yet to respond. But email him at:
Team@hubpages.com and see what he says to you.
Are you quoting Wikipedia in the article in question?
Wrong information? Not really. I wrote just what happened. I wrote Team Humpages SEVERAL emails last night to get them to just tell me what parts of my now-deleted hub, "7 Things You Never Tell an Angry Dare-devil Train Engineer," and I would have completed it. Turns out I rewrote the text, even deleted some photos ALL BY BLIND GUESSWORK.
Unless this auto-flagger can prove to me that what I said was wrong, I stand by what I said and did.
Then why did my hub, "10 Things That American Icon, Mark Twain Did Not Say" get flagged and when I deleted Wikipedia box IT WAS CLEARED FOR PUBLICATION???
And you went in and removed my post without telling me ahead of time?
Just what is going on at HubPages?
The 2uidea thief has apparently hit lots of hubbers. This thread has more information: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/129636
Since Matthew said it is a technical problem, let us keep ourselves busy with something else untill the problem is resolved.
You should still issue DMCA NOIs if you believe that your content has been copied without your permission.

I would like to make a suggestion to the TEAM here on HUB Pages. I feel that it would be a positive improvement here on the HUB, if all of the activity that is perpetuated by Hubbers, were made known. For instance... apparently - anyone can go around giving thumbs UP or DOWN to a fellow...

So .... I was just flagged for a hub I wrote last night. It was flagged as a duplicate.I didn't even cite anything in this hub. I quoted a bunch of stuff in my Anaconda piece and none of it was flagged as duplicate, so someone must have copied and pasted my new hub. Everything on...

Hi,I've read an e-mail I received with the rules and the ONLY thing I could see was that I had 2 links, so I removed one and still got flagged. I think I followed the rest of the rules. Any suggestions? Here's my hub URL:<snipped>THANKS,

How can I publish a hub with quotes on a topic without being flagged for duplicate content? My hub, that I spent hours working on, was flagged for duplicate content. It contains quotes on one topic. Frustated! I want to save my hub. What can I do?

Hubbers,My latest Dexter review is being blocked, essentially, by HubPages. They are saying it requires revision for all sorts of reasons. I will post the exact warning below. But, it is a 100% original, handwritten article! WTF?! It is a review. Obviously things like the title of the episode are...

For the second time my poetry challenges have been flagged for content violations. I do not know why people are offended by something i tried to create to help fellow poets on HubPages, but HubPages has made it clear that my challenges are not appreciated. I will be posting my future...
