      Your forum entries are usually negative and recommend that others move their hubs to other sites. If you are following your advice, which I assume you are, then you have less hubs. If you have less hubs you are going to be earning less money.
      My payout each month is not increasing much but then again I have not been posting new material here. It is still enough.

         You're surmising that every hub makes the same money and that is patently not true.
         
         You're also surmising that I reduced the number of hubs recently - and that's also not true. The ones being moved at present are for the most part ones which have been unpublished for a while - so make no difference to earnings.
         
         I'm only moving content because the way I share information is not liked by HubPages even if Google absolutely loves it and is sending me oodles of traffic to the new sites.
         
         However I'm doing it in batches so as to make coherent sites when I set up new ones. I haven't prioritised ones which I know (from Squidoo) actually earn well because that's not actually my major priority - I make my sites to share information.
         
         Interestingly - and here's the POSITIVE bit - whatever actions HubPages have taken recently (or maybe it's the new Google algorithm) means that my earnings have now gone back up to near what they were prior to the summer.
         
         There was just something very odd going on in June thro Augustand over and above the normal dip in traffic.
         
         I suspect the extent to which people have been affected depends on the extent to which their earnings are derived from Google AdSense or Amazon

            Besides the normal reduction in ad spending that all companies not exclusively focused on summer activities engage in every single summer season, and the annual reduction in human presence online as people enjoy longer daylight hours, warmer weather and take their longest vacations of the year, you might want to consider the overall reduction in health of the U.S. economy. 
            
            It's been steadily going south for a few years now, and no one wants to admit how Americans are spending less on advertising or shopping because our government is being run by businesses now.

               Is that really the case? I'm sure everything I've read says that online spending trends are still going up albeit I think the exponential increase is snow slowing as it becomes more the norm.

      I have to say, I was shocked too.   
      
      The Balance History page only goes back as far as 2011, but I just checked and August's payout was the lowest I've ever received, by a country mile.   September looks as though it will be slightly better but not by much.

      Doesn't pregnancy have a marked seasonality?
      
      There's a pronounced peak in births in September and March/April associated with 'rumpy pumpy' (as we call it in the UK) during the holiday seasons i.e. at Christmas/New Year and on summer holidays.
