I clicked on Account part ( I think) under Hosts Share of Revenue and it says 50% of revenue goes to weebly.com thats 50% ad content and 50% search but under Hubpages.com 0%.
Who is weebly?
And I thought HB got 40% or 60%?...
I do have the option of disabling weebly ,but I dont know who or what they do?
Can anyone help , thankyou
Where are you logging into to see this?
Weebly is another hubpages-type operation.
I logged in under my Google adsense account
No I dont use Weebly ( hadnt heard of them )til now
Google won't give access to weebly or anyone unless you already grant them permission. Check your emails, you should have got notification if you ever signed for weebly and granting them such a permission.
Weebly won't be taking the revenue unless you're posting there, do you?
I'm not sure who HB are but HP split the ad impressions 60% to you and 40% to themselves (which they'll split with others if there are referrers).
They do not split the revenue. You keep 100% of the revenue you make on your 60% of the ad impressions.
Ok well it comes under Google Adsense 'My Account'
oops yea HP, ok well thats what I thought , so maybe I just dont get what the page means.
The page also goes on to say if you use a third party like blogger ,then host revenue will show this ,but as I dont use blogger , oh I dont get it.
Makes me feel like Im working for a dead horse...wahhhh
Ok thanks everyone , gonna check around a bit more , guess just disable them...
(damn jungle out there)..grrr
Just wondering...Is there someone else using your profile in your home to do writing?
Or could you have clicked on a link in an email...spammers...?
Otherwise heres my theory:
Sometimes we are half asleep and begin to sign up for something and change our minds and years later realise we already have a profile on a platform and cant remember the password.
Anything else is downright uncomfortable.
Was any money actually coming in from Weeby? You said they were taking half.
I would maybe investigate further to see if your adsense account code was maybe being used there by someone else. I read something here the other day about people using someone else's code and getting them banned.
Adsense can be set up so it only shows on sites that you own or have an interest in. Under Adsense Setup/ Allowed Sites you can list sites that you allow Adsense to appear on.
It stops the villains from using someone elses code on a porn site and getting the innocent account holder banned from Adsense.
Worth considering.
It sounds very much like someone has hijacked your Adsense publisher ID. It could even be an innocent mistake - someone has signed up for weebly.com and done a typo in their Adsense ID, which just happens to mean it's yours.
You could try contacting Weebly.com - I don't know if they'd have any way of checking if someone's using your ID, but it would be worth asking. Apart from anything else, if it is an innocent mistake then the poor schmuck who did it must be wondering why they're not earning anything!
As Mike says, set up your "Allowed Sites" to only include HubPages.com and any other sites you actually use, to be on the safe side.

Does Google Adsense only pay you if someone clicks on an Ad?I was wondering if they payed you at all for just page visits? Or is it only for clicking through on Ads?
