Newsmax: On your support, I know you explained why you're supporting him, but it was a 180 degree turnaround, for the most part. I mean, he said some nasty things about you. How do you reconcile that?"

Ben Carson: Ah... Politics. You know, the politics of personal destruction. You know, that's nothing new. That’s been going around for a long period of time.
But also I have to look at what is practical. I didn’t see a path for Kasich, who I like, or for Rubio, who I like.
As far as Cruz is concerned I don’t think that he’s going to be able to draw independents and Democrats. Unless he has some kind of miraculous change. So I have to look at what is practical and at what is going to save this country and the American dream for the next generation.
Is there another scenario that I would have preferred?
Yes. But that scenario isn’t available.

Newsmax: OK. With one of the other candidates you mean?

    Carson: Yeah.

Settle for less just to beat the Dems? Do you agree?

Trump is a totally unacceptable candidate for those of us on the left. I can only hope that his abrasive campaign will scare away independents.

The danger of a Trump win is enhanced with Ms. Clinton as the nominee for the Democrats.

What 'danger' are you suggesting to?

None for you as you are a supporter of his. I don't like conservative, populist rightwing politics and politicians.

I don't trust them nor Trump to not break the clock by attempting to turn it back.

Okey, so no 'danger'.... Just that you don't like that idea of turning the clock back next fall? wink

I don't think we'd go back 100 years when the mayor would knock on the doors of people who were involved in presidential election voter fraud and call them out for a dual.  That was when men were manly men, now we have feminist-men. (no insult to manly-men like Trump intended)  But, that might no be a bad idea, the fraud would end quickly in these progressive days.

Are you truly a nineteenth century lady?

Trump is your idea of a 'manly man', he just talks without never having to  live without the silver spoon in his mouth? Courage and testosterone is more than just running your mouth.

That is, of course, if he wins, which is still far from being certain.

And you would have to go back about 200 years for the dueling tradition.

I thought you might get a kick out the humor.
I'm not worried about Trump winning. He has a smart plan.
Don't be fooled by the dumb-schmuck act, its just rhetoric.
He is well aware of the tricks of politics and their money-men.

Unlike Bathhouse Barry(BHO), Ted Cruz openly admits his father was not an American when Ted was born IN CANADA.  WHY isn't birther-Trump forcing this guy to forge a long-form Birth Certificate?

Probably because you don't need to be born inside US borders to be a "natural born citizen".  Nor do you need both parents to be citizens.

The District of Columbia is not a part of the United States.  DC is a United States Incorporation (a corporate government) that is controlled by thirteen wealthy banking families, (the Rothschilds, etc.) and the Federal Reserve.  A corporation simply put, makes its own rules.  Power corrupts.

Ah, Trumpeters almost make me hope for a Trump presidency, just so I can watch them squirm when their candidate's dumb-schmuck act turns out to be real, and they're twisting themselves in knots trying to defend his latest insane rant or clownish foreign policy faux-pas.

It's just a passing fantasy, though.

I just hope & pray birther President Trump will appoint Ben Carson Surgeon General, put that lesbian, commie, witch Hillary behind bars and put Bathhouse Barry in front of a firing squad.

To each his own, I will support Clinton as the nominee, even if she is not my preferred choice.
