I have approved a comment left on one of my hubs, but the box for me to reply has not appeared. This has never happened before. Please help

Hubs that have been placed on the specialty sites are rearranged so that their comment boxes are at the top of the comments section instead of the bottom as we have become accustomed to.

Also, try reloading the page.  Only takes a minute and sometimes it helps if a comment box is missing.

If this is not the case and there really is no comment box available I would suggest you write to team@hubpages.com.  They're usually pretty good about getting back to you the same day.

        @ smile au fait,
I have met with a bit of aggravation with the
same situation. But you have answered this
        perfectly!

A perfect answer, @Au fait! I hope Colleen's problem has been solved by now after following your instructions.

I find it easier to follow Glenn Stok's advice - I always go to My Account, then click on "Comments", and approve and reply from there.  It's a lot less confusing!

I don't like HP's comment section at all because one can not reply directly to a person's comment. But when I do reply I use the 'comments' in 'my account' too and put the name of the one I want to reply to first with a # in front, so at least then you know for who the reply was meant to.

@/#Tita, what I do sometimes, is go to the profile page of the
one who left the comment and go into Fan Mail and then hit
the "Send (Name of Hubber) Fan Mail" and send them a brief
thank you for their comments, but I said 'sometimes.' I do not
do this all of the time.
