I admit it, I have a website, but in order to comply with the non-promotional rule, I'll just tell you that I sell the most embarrassing items to buy at the conventional store.

I am looking to see what other items I could sell that people would find very embarrassing to buy.

What have you had to buy (or know someone who did need to buy) that was just embarrassing?

The funniest was my Brother-in-law who once had to buy the book 'My Husband is Gay' Not for him, of course, but for someone he knew. Hilarious.

Pile cream. Not for me of course but hubby can't live without it and I do tend to tell the shop girl it's for him in a very loud voice.

My niece and nephew had lice a year ago, my sister was beyond embarrassed to buy the lice treatment, so I bought it for her.

The most embarrassing thing I have ever bought involved sex toys.  I wore a disguise though so nobody would know who I was.  When I got back to the car I slammed it into reverse, backed out, dropped into drive before it finished rolling, and burned out for about a half mile.

Buying anything dealing with your bowels is always humiliating.  I once had to buy Pepto, moist toilet wipes and tums.  I never returned to that Walgreens again.  Condoms, lubricants, and pregnancy tests are sometimes embarassing as well.

A penis bag. For you who aren't knowledgeable, it's what should be worn under the Kilt. Not all do though. smile

OMG I never really thought of that, BUT are you sure that's the correct name for it???

That must be something that you squeamish Americans have come up with. As a proud Celt I can tell you that the kilt is a weapon. Wearing nothing underneath and charging the enemy gives you a few extra seconds while your target screams in horror. Or at least cringes.

As for the most embarassing thing to buy - according to my teenage daughter it's anything that I want. Or maybe it's just me smile

Feminine Napkins...there's like a zillion sizes from Q tip to mattress.  I stand and look at the BIG LONG shelves in WalMart while women look at me with that,"I can't believe a wife would send her husband" look on their faces.  I can't remember the certain names of them so I just call them "Puddy Pads."

If you really want to get weird looks in the store...buy bananas and condoms!  smile

I don't like buying tampons from young guys working at the register. hahaha Other than that, I don't really mind. Usually, I buy personal items at drug stores because I feel more comfortable there. They've seen it all. smile

I once had to utilize a hotel gift to store to buy some tampons. They were behind the counter, so the (young) guy asked "what can I get you?" I said tampons and he sort of snickered. He was probably around 18 and I was surprised at his attitude because it was a very nice hotel - you'd think they'd have better employees!

I told the kid that he was going to have one hell of a time finding a girlfriend with an attitude like that towards feminine products.

    I'd have to say
from a guys point of view
that feminine products are most embarassing
things to buy unless you're gay!

It's so funny to read all of these. Especially because my site deals with this very thing. Although I can't tell you where it is, I'm sure you could find it following the links in some hubs (which I also wont tell you where those are, although I have authored some in my day)
