thanks to the ones who did write a little hub for Naoh. I appreciate it guys...seems like we are the only ones who give a damn about him. or even those victims on Ft. hood. I'm going to be writing hubs for them as well.

      hi sweetie.

i think many people do care...this is the first time i read this thread...just now...had a full weekend and only had time to post one forum post yesterday, for Ryan and his cat.

i will write a hub for Noah...i'm only saying this here so you know that some people probably haven't responded to this because, like me, they haven't read it yet.

It seems like every year or so there is some kind of scam or hoax about some kid who wants to get the most Christmas cards.  You're sure about this one, right?  I mean, it sucks that this kind of thing goes on but it does and I would hate to see you all waste your sympathetic feelings and effort to find out this isn't true. I'm just wondering if anyone checked it out.

snopes says it's real, it's been on the news...there is a clip of the news on the other thread that I posted the link too so yes it is 100% real, wsp.

  13. wsp2469 profile image60
    wsp2469posted 14 years ago

Okay, hope so.  I know the last time something almost exactly like this was publicized the kid didn't die.  He was not even sick. Keep posting that address and I'll get one off into the mail soon.

As much as I wish that Noah would not die, it looks like he is... and whether he lives through this or not... here are the links I keep posting on the other thread and the address... the most inconvenience it would cost is .42 cents.

Uninvited Writer Reminds us his name is different from first post:

        1141 Fountain View Circle

I am going to repost these to make it easier to find info as well:

and view an news clip about him at

Cosette has written a VERY informative hub:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Christmas-wishes-for-Noah

And for anyone wondering, Noah's family has asked that if you want to send him a present, send $1 instead... they will collect the money and donate it to University of Michigan's research in neroblastoma, little Noah's disease smile

Seeing as how the other hub for Noah was closed... and for good reason, I am posting his update on this hub.

Sadly, this morning at 8:02 his time in Mich, Noah Biorkman passed away. I am only posting this so that everyone who sent him a card or helped out by writing a hub in any way can know the rest of the story. His mother posted the news on Noah's account on carepages.com this afternoon.

His family thanks everyone for their support through the season and asks that we do not send any more cards or flowers and if we want to donate to donate to

    Department of Pediatrics and Oncology
    University of Michigan
    1500 East Medical Center Drive
    D4202MPB
    Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109-5718
Checks payable to: The University of Michigan – Noah’s Pediatric Oncology Fund

    OR

    Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan
    230 Huron View Blvd.
    Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103
Checks payable to: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan – Memo: Noah Biorkman

They are having a private ceremony for him later this week.

Though we knew this was coming, it is still very very sad

Let us keep them in out thoughts this holiday season.

Yes, we knew that this was going to happen but it is still heartbreaking. Atleast we know that Heaven has another beautiful angel there today. My eyes are full of tears trying to write this, thinking about how I would be taking it if it was one of my children. The Lord would have to help me because I don't know if I could bare it. Comfort Noah's family, I pray.

I read it yesterday. I knew when I got an email updated from Care Pages that he was gone even before I clicked on the link.

Looks like they celebrated Christmas at the right time. It is so sad, even if expected.

In this spirit of this thread, I would like to post Judi McClellan's poem that she wrote for Noah and another little boy who went away over the weekend... it is one of the most beautiful and heart-wrenching poems I think I have ever read...
