Made It To Sedona!

   well we pulled in to Sedona about 6pm yesterday. And this place is incredible! It was a hell of a long drive from Michigan but well worth it.
   
   Didn't have wi-fi in Tucson where we stayed with some friends so I couldn't update earlier. I'm good to go now.
   
   Can't wait to start exploring. No darn time to write a hub right now but it's coming. Hi to everyone who has been following my venture here, and be talking again real soon. K.

            You got there at a great time.  The rocks are beautiful with snow on them.  You should head up to the airport for pictures.

               Ditto on the airport advice. But, don't drive up to the top if road conditions are poor. The view up top is spectacular, there's a restaurant too if you like to watch planes come and go.
               
               Make sure to also check out Tlaquepaque. I love all the beautiful handmade artisan crafts in the stores there and the feel of the whole place. I especially love the Geoffrey Roth Gallery. Geoffrey Roth designs amazing watches for men, and jewelry, as well as offers other jewelers works, sculpture, etc. Much of it is museum quality work.

   Glad you and yuor wife made it safely, K! Can't wait to read your hubs after you get them all written and posted...or will it just be one hub? Plus can't wait to see all of the pictures..or well most...some? lol

            K Partin...if your scoutin' around the Sedona area (lucky dog)...you're in a truly magnificent place...check out the locals (maven101-previous posting)suggestions...if you can...I know I would...for sure.

         it has been dark and cloudy here all day. my side yard is filling up with so much water i might need sandbags

   K Partin...Check out Tuzigoot while you are up here...only 15 minutes from Sedona...Look up to the south end mesa from Tuzigoot and you will see our home ( only two up here )..look for the USMC flag...Lots of snow here today, absolutely beautiful...Larry
