After a lot of hard work, I have finally gotten paid from the HP Ad Program. I cannot say how much but it was well over the $50 threshold. Thanks to everyone who supported me over the months and I hope that this inspires others to keep writing.
Thanks yougotme! Right now, my traffic is at an all-time low, so I don't think I will be paid again in another two to three months but I'll keep writing more hubs! Thanks for the motivation. )
Maybe you should switch to the HP Ad Program , even with low traffic you don't have to depend on clicks, you will be sure to get something even with low traffic.
I was going to but HP uses PayPal and even though I got a PayPal account some time ago I have never used it. The reason is that I have gotten leery about them and I am still checking them out.
Thanks Christian! I have 48 hubs, I spent 4 hours a week and I have written 2 hubs a week to accomplish this. You can also see my hub for a more detailed breakdown of what I did. Getting paid isn't easy that's for sure.
Thanks for visiting Jan! I remember when you were paid a few months ago; actually when I read that you got paid, that kept me motivated and I knew there was hope so I kept writing. Well done, you should be paid again soon!
Congrats! I should only be a few days away from mine. Maybe sooner if I write another hub soon. Thanks for letting us know about your milestone, and I hope your next payout comes faster! ~ Kathryn
Thank you, Kathryn! If you earned over $50 last month then you should be paid on the 28th of November. If you will earn over $50 this month, then you will be paid on 28th of December. Let us know when you do get paid!
Thanks for the information, Susi. I'll keep that in mind. Yes, I will let you know when I reach payout! I will probably come up with another hub for it, although I will have to think of my own angle on it.
Thanks CMHypno, I really appreciate you dropping by. You are right, the first payment is the most memorable. I hope I will get paid again in a few more months.
Thanks Writer Fox. When I asked a question on how many hubs it takes to get paid etc, WryLilt answered and said that it takes about six months to get paid and then the payout time halves each time after that. So, I began to earn six months ago and now I am paid so it should take me another 3 months to get paid and then every month after that. Is that true? That's what I'm hoping.
Congratulations! I got paid this week too from Adsense ($150) for hubs for the first time. About $80 of that was from other Adsense earnings not Hubpages related. I had something like 18 hubs sitting around for 9 months which I forgot about. After payment, I got all excited and move other articles I had written onto Hubpages to make it more. I hope it does get easier
I just received an email from Paypal saying I had received a payment from Hub Pages. I have been in AdSense for 10 months and finally reached my first payout...happy days! Now, I am looking forward to my next and see if I can make it happen sooner.
I am soo happy, I have reached 500,000 views. I am aiming for 1 million before the end of the year. How many views do you have and what are your expectations? Tips on how to drive more traffic and increase the $$$$$ are also welcome.
hi. I was so happy last night after posting in a thread and noticed my score of 100 so I went to check google ad sense to see if I had reached my goal of making it to $100. by Aug. 31-- and I did! and I reached my Aug. goal with Amazon. I looked at the ad sense report closely to see which...
I'm so excited! My Adsense has finally reached $100 after two years! Yey! I better write more hubs if I want my next payout in less than two years, huh? Hehe!
