I think I have everything set up right. After five months I have earned about 30 dollars on over 100 hubs. It has been a lot of work and although I enjoy writing, a little more money would be nice. I have not yet received the money - either as a check or otherwise. Can you check if I am missing something in my account and give me any other suggestions of how I can improve and make a bit more money. I will appreciate your honest help from your experiences. Thank you.
I dont know if you have had problems ... Have you read this? It might help, especially for those who have got caught out.

I really hope this helps x
It's fairly common for it to take 8-10 months to receive your first payout. Sounds like you're pretty much on schedule. My suggestion would be to figure out what makes your top earners the top earners and do more of whatever that is. It's different for everyone.
Similar story here. And tired of the same old advice. Everyone wants you to spend more money, and more money, to do something or the other. Or write about pots and pans and mechanical parts.
So, back to the hustle and bustle of the real world.
But if i do strike it big I will share the methods.
My question: Can you make money on free sites?
You won't find any experienced Hubbers suggesting you spend money on anything, unless you get to the point where you have a website on a great niche which is worth the investment.
It took me about 10 months to reach my first payout (they don't pay you until you reach $100 US). After that it snowballs. Mind you, that was with about 60 Hubs.
I recently wrote a Hub about optimizing your existing Hubs to earn revenue. I think it would help both of you.
By 'everyone' I was hardly referring to hubbers. Even the free tutors are hooked to the systems you have to pay for. Now i am not expecting something for nothing, but let's not pretend it's possible to make tons of cash on a free site then tell me to spend spend spend.
I have been using google adsense long enough to know about the payout threshold. My frustration is with the low number of clicks, which is no doubt a reflection of low traffic.
I am willing to spend, but only after careful analysis. And low spend to begin with.
Just read the hub. Rated it up. I have been doing some of those things like photo at right in second capsule. But not tried the Amazon ideas.
Brilliant idea on making second text capsule short so second set of ads will be higher up.
you havn't hit the 100 dollar payout threshold, that's why there's no payment. I read that somewhere but so as not to get attacked i'll just leave it at that and take it for what's worth. I don't feel like finding and posting the links anymore, its just best to read the terms of service when signing up! Amazon however makes payouts at a lower threshhold but beware the check printing fee and go the route of electronic funds transfer for no fee! you wont destroy all your profits that way
spot on,Mel. Amazon sets a $100 minimum outside America, though, and foreigners can't get electronics funds transfer. I started out taking the money in gift certificates but I wish I hadn't now!
You have a lot of hubs on some very profitable topics, so to improve your earnings I think you should look in to keyword optimization and advert layout. For example, your electronic gadgets for Christmas Hub.
You have not actually mentioned the words electronic gadgets, or christmas, that much in your actual text. The layout could be improved by including subheadings, say,
Introduction
Product one
Product two
Product three
etc..
Conclusion.
I found that a good advert layout was to put two amazon capsules side by side beneath each product, and place one product for sale in each of these capsules.
You should be earning a lot more with your hubs.
You need to start optimizing your hubs (using the keyword in the first paragraph and alternate keywords in the content). After that add them to rss feed directories and social bookmarking sites. This will help them place better in search engine results.
Good luck!
read my hub about using blogs to get traffic, also read the analytics hubs to learn how to track your traffic and make sure you aren't getting screwed. Take a look at my most recent hub about writing online to make money, use hubs as a passive income but use freelance sites for a consistent active income while still writing and staying at home. Home I have some helpful info for you
thank you all so much for all your help. I read the suggested hubs. I will work on my current hubs to see if I can get more clicks. Again, mahalo (thanks in Hawaiian).

For those of you starting to or who have been experiencing success with Adsense, can you give some sort of earnings trajectory?Just curious how my experience as it stands matches up. How has it grown over time? From nothing to pennies a day to... to... ??Would love to hear how it has...

Here's a few tips:1) Create URLs that are meaningful.2) Choose Titles which aren't misleading.3) Write about what you know.4) Don't copy and paste content from elsewhere and try and pass it off as your own work.

I know I asked something similar before but I am a bit confused about Adsense earnings. I don't know how on earth anyone ever gets a payout at least from the way I'm going. My Adsense earnings have always been between 0 - 2cents a day with maybe a few days (and I mean a few over about...

Does anyone here make more money with just few hubs?Does anyone here make more money with just few hubs? Or you need to have hundred of hubs to always reach pay-out?

I'm in Canada. How realistic is it for me to believe I will see any earnings; even after 6 months to a year writing high quality hubs?

So at the end of this month, I'll get $111.36 transferred to my bank account It would've probably happened sooner if I had written more Hubs, but I got out of the habit of writing them, even though I frequently pop in on my adsense account to see a couple bucks made every so often. How long did it...
