Venice!  There, that was easily answered!  I've never been, but it looks so beautiful - and is right at the top of my To Visit list.  I'd love to spend a few weeks there, exploring the islands and canals.

New Zealand is beautiful! If you enjoy nature/scenery ... you'll have your fill there. It's absolutely gorgeous. Touristy stuff can be a bit pricey though. The Coromandel is my absolute, most favourite place there. Especially Cathedral cove. Google pictures if you're interested, it feels like paradise there : )

I have heard that there is a glacier in New Zealand waters with a hole in it and you can boat right through it. Now that sounds exciting. Also I have heard there is a beach where you dig a hole in the sand and get a warm bath. Water warmed by an active volcano just springs up. Now that also seems like something worth experiencing.

I don't know about the glacier ... I'm pretty sure it would be in the South Island. Unfortunately I never made there. Sounds amazing though!!

I've been to the beach you're talking about. It's called Hot Water Beach and it's in the town I mentioned, Coromandel. It was definitely an interesting experience. The beach was full to when I went, so there was a cool atmosphere about it too. People are usually there well into the night.

I saw the glacier on the program GETAWAY. I was told about the beach ages ago. Good of you Inspiration101 to fill in some of the details.

This looks like a strikingly beautiful part of Italy. Is it near a set of caves dug into a cliff wall?

Cornwall in England would be a place I would most want to visit. I would enjoy checking out the old caves and other haunts of smugglers and I know I would love the rugged coastline and beaches. Where they film Doc Martin looks great.

Another place that strikes my fancy is Knightswood in Scotland. It has a rather strange history dealing with Knights Templar and sacred oaths and daring-do. I also have friends there I have yet to meet outside correspondence.

A trip to New Zealand is a must. I want to visit my friend Lyn McConchie, author and critic. I want to see what her Farside Farm is like. She makes the place sound strange but yet very appealing.

Oh, and some day I have GOT to get back to the USA.

Have I got itchy feet? You bet!
