   This is all make believe of course, but assuming you were, would you? Would you turn down the instant burst of cash?
   
   Personally I wouldn't simply because I believe that in the long run my hubs will pull through. Others I wouldn't on the basis that I would cringe should they be monetized or used by others.

   I could see some people doing it, simply because there are some Hub that are not going to perform, so $40 would be good, because those who don't ever make money.

   Never. In fact I would charge at least $500 to write a 800-word hub - and a lot more depending on the topic. The person would be paying for my experience in internet marketing and marketing in general. The time I take to write a hub is incidental to the money and time I've invested in education and research.
   
   And yes there are people asking.

      That's a lot of money. But then again, there's something atrocious about parting with literature of any kind.
      
      Freelancing, specifically selling full rights on projects, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I suppose hubpages can, given time, constitute the best of both worlds.

      Nelle, you should write the ultimate hubbers money making guide. I have never bought anything like ebooks online, but I would totally pay for that. And I am sure many fellow hubbers would pay you for that too. It would be an easy moneymaker, as you would have to do barely any promoting, since everyone already knows and loves you!
      
      That i would pay for, and I am now considering signing up for the Keyword Academy. But not until I have made enough money online and into my paypal account to pay for it

         I'm a horrible teacher. I think the Keyword Academy is a fantastic choice. I like Courtney's style. He's aggressive and he experiements like mad.
         
         I don't know how to teach people what I do. I'm very intuitve and just sort of putz around the internet - figuring out what to do next.

   And you never know what you're big earner will be. People would be shocked - totally shocked - to know my best producing hub. You have no idea how much I want to share, because it would be fun to talk about. But deep down I know better. (Only my mom knows.)

      hahaha I love hubs like that. I have one that I'm not sure how it makes sales. Really low traffic and AMAZING conversion. I need to make more like it, but it's kinda hard to know what I did, if that makes sense.

         I know girly_girl I'm reading a book called Switch now that advises you to find out what you're doing right in your life or business and then use those lessons to do more right.
         
         I've really been trying to understand what sells in Hubs. It seems that when I'm working on a hub I have an idea of the products I want to include. And then it seems - especially on ebay - I find this product that I hadn't thought of, and it's a little silly, a little offbeat - and a little voice in the back of my ear says, "Oh what the Hell, throw it in - it doesn't cost anymore to put it in". And that's what sells! It's a little scary.

    I wouldn't sell them because I've got attached to them over the months.  If I write an article for someone else, I just hand it over and never look at it again.  But with the Hubs you check the stats, earnings and think about ways to improve them - and yes its exciting if you get higher than usual traffic or unexpected earnings.  I think that part of the Hub enjoyment is never quite knowing what tomorrow will bring, and hope is priceless!

    Even though I highly value my work that sounds tempting, I mean I have sixty one hubs as of today if you times that by 40.00 that would be $2,400.00, that's a lot more than I'm making now. So it's kinda of tempting.

    That would be tempting since I'm new and hardly making anything yet and rather broke. I do believe my hub earnings will most likely increase over time as I've targeted some competitive keywords in a few.
    
    I think I would pass, it would eat me up to see that my hubs all of a sudden started kicking booty on Google, making $ and I didn't see the long term benefit from my hard work. That long term constant voice in my head telling me I screwed up royally isn't worth the short term gain.
    
    I came to HP knowing the real value of publishing here is the residual income. Pass!

    I agree, I had no intention of selling my hubs, haven't had anyone offer to buy them either, and I'm broke plus the money looked really good for a moment there. I want you to know, I do value my mental labor and I don't have any intention of selling my hubs.
