What are some things or someone you may take for granted that you are truly grateful for?
As a parent myself, I have an unending crescendo of appreciation for my mother. The purgatory I put her through when I was a teenager just makes me cringe with shame. Truly, being a parent is a high and holy calling. One that is all too often taken lightly in today's society.
I'm grateful for getting into a college that I had always dreamed of going to to do what I've always wanted to do - engineering.
My children.
EDIT: Nevermind. I reread the original question. They aren't something I take for granted at all.
....Ummm, I don't know. Maybe I think too much about too much stuff to really take anything I value for granted.
