I've eaten crickets and beetles while in Thailand and they're actually not bad. They didn't taste of much, just crispy, crunchy fried things.

Hmmm, I have eaten crickets. Crunchy and oh so chewy lol. Also, frogs, goats, duck's egg (with small chick inside) wink. Haven't eaten snake yet but they told me it taste like chicken (they always do LOL). There are a lot of things that we eat here that I don't want to enumerate as some people who might be reading this are still having their breakfasts/lunch right now smile.

Popping pills? As in, a little headache, go pop a pill stuff like that? smile

Scargots (snails) are a delicacy in France.
The first time I tried them in Spain I found them horribly disgusting but after that I tried them again in France and they were actually quite good.  I have eat them in salads, grilled with garlic butter and as a filling for petit fours... yummy!

If they are well made they are very tasty but if they are not properly cleaned before cooking it is rather disgusting to clean them on your dish.
