Just the ones caught up In human trafficiking . And sad to say there are many of those . However some of them know the risk they run . And sad to say they,re self esteem Is so low they do not think they deserve better.

i believe that the only true victims in this world are those who are helpless and incapable of helping themselves, like children, animals or sick, disabled people in nursing homes or mentally ill street people, etc.

    Some are, some aren't.

We have cases in London where girls from outside the UK are enticed into a better life. The minute they get here - their passports are seized and they are forced into prostitution with No choice whatsoever.

A bit like that film "Taken". If you've watched it.

    i agree.

if they have the wherewithall to get up every day, clean and dress themselves, and make the conscious choice to go out there every day, they are not victims. they are masters of their own fate, unlike an abused child or helpless animal, who have no voice.

Victems of they're own poor judgement or of people without a soul. I feel that women that aren't real well educated become victems of men and it goes south from there. This can take the form of drugs, sexual abuse or traficing. Men without morals will use women to a point that it's all they feel they have. Drugs also break down their will to resist and cause them to enter the cycle. Human trafficing is slavery pure and simple, these women do this because they are threatened or their family is.  It's a sad outcome for a human life.

You know what i don't respect that job its to easy. people do crazy things for money then find an excuse to back it up so do they. Its a choice they make we all make choices and the ones who don't make a choice and are forced ok that's a victim. love all.

jcv - My husband worked in public health for several years when AIDS became an issue in the early 1980s. I once asked him what the average career expectancy of a street hooker was. He said 3 to six years before they became too sick to work. It's my understanding that things haven't changed that much. That can't be a happy lifestyle unless one is very suicidal.
