Wine: preferably Chardonnay, but all kinds, an occasional dark beer--preferably Guinness, Tanqueray & tonics, and Smith & Kerns for an after dinner drink.

    Hi, BD!

    i forgot to add:

grand marnier with a bit of lime juice.  yes, it seems a bit foolish to corrupt a fine tequila, but if you're gonna drink margaritas, it's the only way to go.

there's always don julio 1942 for sipping.

    greetings to you too, lita!!

    Hi, BD!

    Your words are mine.
I have the same preferencies. But in Burgundies, I go for the reds too.
I used to drink rhum in cocktails and whisky and loads of beer but I was told I had met my quota for the century.

Wine is the most healthy beverage.
Especially in these days of H1N1 psychosis where the use of hydro-alcoholic solutions is highly recommended.
    Cheers

Dry German wine, preferably Mosel (yes silly me I like Mosel better than Rhine).  For an occasional treat, Eiswein or Beerenauslese.  They are like my dessert.

I don't have a drink often due to my medications, but I love Bellinni's or a good bubbly, such as St,Jullien cherry champagne

Currently, the favored poison here is a variation of White Lightening and Wine, to wit, Jack Daniels and Cabernet Savignon, with a can of Bud or Miller GD chaser.

SEE the Heart album "Dreamboat Annie" for further details.

Do I also play Led Zeppelin? Funny you should ask, but a little bit, yes eventhough I have a garage band, but no garage. The "noise" factor with neighbors is something other than else.

Whiskey allows quick learning of scores that beer doesn't, when I can find them, concentration and a steady grip on the 6-string neck. Add a sympathomimetic like ephedrine, and the high vocal notes kick in.

Defying local authorities' schemes of injustice is another passtime, lubricated by aforesaid beverages.

Imagine Mayberry, do a 180, add wide spread religious coercion, and you've got the Poconos' Pike County, PA. Christ help us with the new covenant (wine).
