What is the motivation for your belief in God? If you don't believe in God what is the reasoning behind that?

My belief in God needs no motivation.  It simply exists in my heart and soul.  Motivation is the BUSINESS of organized religion.

Oh yeah I do. I believe because of many things. The proof is in nature, in science, in archeology, in history.
I know experientially from all He has done in my life. all the answers to prayer etc..

Unfortunately, "God" always has to modify his/her beliefs because of science.  God and his/her religion always fights science but then eventually adopts science's findings.  The Church fought against the Earth being round, the Sun was the center of our solar system and women's rights.

I do not believe in any single god as he/she doesn't exist in my world.

But the great thing about the infinite consciousness of the Universe, our worlds are different.  God may exist in your world but can not exist in mine at the same time.

    Wonderful, isn't it? smile

Please be sure your vision isn't skewed by knowledge you don't have.

A 'belief' is supposed to be based on something that can be true. It is something you can get behind 100% because you know it to be true.

What you have is 'faith'. You have 'faith' that there really is a 'god'. Faith is a mystical terminology issued by religion. It was later used to in other forms of context, but came from religion

With that said- even as you've stated- you're a believer- and I'm now going to tell that you can NEVER have 100% belief in something you know isn't real.

    It is a biological impossibility.

As for answer the topic question.

    Do you believe in God?

    Nope!

I have all I need to know with 100% positive honesty, there is no god and never has been.

I had questions about life. I now have my answers. Everything else is knowledge to learn.

I'm not exactly sure where you are going with that. But, I guess I am forced to ask...What's your point?

I believe - and there's no reason why I do - I just do smile
Some things - like a mother's love, Nature's beauty, first love - don't have a reason or motivation - they just are!

Everything that happens in your life happens for a reason. If you haven't figure that out for yourself, then I am glad I could help.

The 'reason' might not be known to you, but it doesn't stop you from learning. The whole point of life is knowledge and understanding.

Plain and simple. You are to absorb as much knowledge as you can about the people who live among you. You are to be honest with yourself and in your dealings with others. You are to value and protect your life and others. Through doing this you gain 'understanding' wisdom.

Anything outside of that- is irrelevant.

Upon realizing this- it leaves no room for 'god' at all.

If it's guidance you seek- look inside yourself.

If it's higher meaning for your life- look inside yourself.

If you really want higher meaning- set your own purpose and make it happen.

You want 'god' to love you, then be your own god.

Use your consciousness for something other than telling you, you are alive.

Use your conscience you were born with, the proper way, don't push it aside.

Use your subconscious warnings to show you direction, it's deep inside you.

Take full responsibility for your own existence and make it full.

It's an awesome feeling of relief.
