Hi I have signed up with eBay & Amazo, but my ads for those are not showing.
Just the google is showing, which I'm still waiting for the email.
I was just wondering ow long it would take for eBay & Amazon ads to show?
eBay and Amazon ads are part of the revenue capsules you'll see buttons for when you are in the editing screen of a Hub.
Thank you!

Make sure you put the capsels in yourself and follow what they say to do. Also make sure your amazon and ebay account numbers are linked to hubpages in your afflicted settings under your account ![]()
Okay I just signed up for ebay. When I open an ebay capsule it says..
Add an eBay affiliate ID to your HubPages account to share in the revenues. (MEANING THE THING I JUST DID? The code under Affiliate Settings?)
Tips and Tricks
Unwanted items can be excluded with the addition of search terms to exclude with a - sign (e.g. "car -new"). (OKAY???)
You can specify multiple Seller IDs by separating them with commas. (ARE SELLER IDs like ASIN Codes?)
If you want to list all the items from a seller, leave an empty search box. ( ??? This makes no sense to me at all. If it's empty, how could they know which seller I'm talking about?)
I'm sure there are simple answers, but I just ripped out my last 5 hairs on my head trying to figure this hideous thing out.

Your EBay affiliate ID looks like it's correctly inputted. All done there.
Unwanted items can be excluded with the addition of search terms to exclude with a - sign (e.g. "car -new"). (OKAY???)
This just means if you're trying to display cars, but your hub is about, say, used cars, and therefore listings on new cars would be irrelevant, you can subtract a keyword from your search by putting a dash in front of it. Another example: you're writing about the city Chicago, and the band's albums are coming up. You could exclude some of these items by adding "-music" or "-album" (without quotes) to your search box.

If, for example, you sell things on EBay, or have a particular seller you like, you can put the seller ID here to only display items that they (or you) are auctioning. ASIN codes are for specific products on Amazon. Seller IDs on EBay are for certain user's "stores."
If you want to list all the items from a seller, leave an empty search box. ( ??? This makes no sense to me at all. If it's empty, how could they know which seller I'm talking about?)
The search box is for keywords. The seller ID box is for a seller ID. If both are blank, you won't get any products. If you list a keyword and no seller (which is what you probably want to do most of the time), it will show all products for that keyword, regardless of seller. If you list a seller and no keyword, it will show all the items by that seller.
Hope all that helps.

Thank you so much!
does that mean we get paid by having the ebay capsules even if we don't have an ID with them under our affiliates page? I'm confused

No. You don't get any revenue if you aren't signed up.
