I just put it on, and so far have one click at $0.01 for an eCPM of 50c. Pass the champagne ...

I am planning to give it a few weeks, perhaps till the end of July, and then see whether the Kontera earnings are making me more than I lose in Adsense revenue by people clicking away from my Hubs via Kontera links.

Given that my Adsense eCPM was over $6, Kontera clicks had better be at least 95% people who otherwise wouldn't have clicked an Adsense ad - more than 5% cannibalisation and Kontera will get the boot.

Mind you, they may come up with better-paying clicks later on. We shall see ...

Congrats. I've got nearly a dollar, too! lol I agree, my average click is about 4 cents, which is pretty low. :-/ How do you see per click data? I couldn't find it yesterday when I was looking. All I could find was the URLs and the % of clicks coming from them.

Yea, that's what I'm doing. I'll probably give it more than a month, but I want to see if the Kontera earnings will decrease my Adsense too much, as I'm doing pretty good with Adsense lately, and I want to see if it'll be worth it... Basically, like you said, if the Kontera earnings will be more or less than what's lost with Adsense. So far I haven't noticed a change in my Adsense, but I also don't have Kontera on all of my hubs, but a good portion of them.

Thanks Sun Seven. Your Thread reminded me to check my Kontera Income.
    It Says:

    Dtd: July 3, 2008

    1. Net Imp: 159        2. Clicks: 5        3. CTR %: 3.14%        4. Revenues: $ 0.44

    5. eCPM($): $ 2.77

What is Net Imp ? Is it Page Impression ?

Lol I didn't imply it yet and might not. I get at least $.05 a click on all ad sense things and thats better then 1-3 cents. Also guys remember, for this month only Mike the Kontera guy is offering all Hubbers 55% of the profits instead of 50%. So that 1-3 cents will be 5% less after this month neutral

Man, Thanks for this info. I have activated Kontera on all my hubs, blogs and my site. I will have to think on this.

Which it's great to give it a try longer than one month to see if what you earn on Kontera will be more than what you potentiall lose on Adsense. I'm going to try the ads for at least 4-6 months to get it a fair shot. But for the past few days, I haven't noticed a drop in Adsense. Actually, I've had an increase in my adsense revenue.

I want to say that if you want to have fewer ads you can contact Kontera and have them decrease the number of ads.

Also it seems like less text links per article would be better.  I personally want to drive people to my Hubs to share information, with of course the hope of earning some money for my time and efforts.  However, too many ads may turn people off to HubPages.  Anyone else have thoughts on that?
