Gosh, I really felt my spirit uplifting in the hope that Google reversed its algo change and credited some generous traffic to my hubs ;-)

We made a few updates to our site earlier today, and along with it unfortunately, is the misaligned stats total bug. We will have it fixed as soon as possible, most likely by the end of Tuesday.

The hub stats should now be back to normal now. Feel free to report any further issues.

This so reminds me of what a pain in the butt the programming life is. I’m almost glad that some guy in India has my job now… smile

Mine are out of alignment as well.  Thanks for pointing it out because it made me look at my total views.  At the current rate of views I should hit 1 million page views within 30 days.  smile

      Wow! WTG, KCC!
I don't know if you remember posting your stats in the forum way back, but I copied your post, and it was my inspiration, looking at your stats kept me going because in the early days, mine were comparable to yours (but a year behind). I couldn't imagine a day when my hubs might get 1000 or more views per day. But happen it did in roughly the same timescale.
I had a look for that file, but I think it must be on my older laptop.
Oh and I'm nowhere near 1,000,000 views. Maybe in another year smile

Awwwww......Thanks Izzy!  I do remember posting the stats.  I still keep records of them, but I stopped keeping track of each thousand like I used to.  I marked down when I hit 500,000 and told myself I'd just wait until I hit a million.

I'm really pleased that it helped you back then.  I remember how it felt when I saw people having reached 10,000 pageviews.  I even did a hub about it.  It just seemed a million miles away.  It comes quicker than you think.

I wonder what enhancement they were putting into effect when they caused the “collateral damage”? (Which on a scale of serious is about .01 on a scale of 0 to 10) smile

Mine are out of alignment too.  Hey has anyone ever seen the word "irrevocable," before, in relation to our hubs? If so what does it mean? It's at the bottom, in black!

    1. IzzyM profile image87
IzzyMposted 13 years agoin reply to this

I just noticed that too - that explains why everything is out of sync - it's a new addition!

I take it that means certain hubs can't be revised.

Hmm... I just noticed it myself. Sound quite ominous don't it smile
I also notice the the warning block above our 'stats' has gone?

Yeah, I was going to submit a bug report, but came to the forum just in case. I think it has to do with the addition of the 'irrevocable' thing.

The problem seems to be the HTML formatting of the grey boxes above the stats columns.  The 'Slideshow Views' needs to be shifted to the right, one column, and the 'Page Views' needs to be one column wider, to the right.
