   My short term goal (at the moment) is to finish the novel I'm working on before the contract deadline in February (easy, because it's almost done!) and my long term goal is to be able to push my yearly income from writing into six digits!

   My goal as a writer is to escalate my writing from short stories on Yahoo Contributor Network and LuLu.com to writing for full fledged publishing companies.  Getting self published online  is great and to get readers is greater.  But to have a publishing company offline appreciate your work with an  actual book writing tour would be an awesome experience.

   Improving the writing skills, activating the imagination (even more) publish the books that are still inked in the spiral notebooks, and develop another oracle card deck.
   
   For the long term, writing, publishing, and meeting people, plus, keeping up with crafting arts. I love to create!

    I just self-published my first novel and I am in the editing phase on my second novel. My short term goals are to finsih rewrites and get my second novel published and to start my third novel. I would like to be working full time as a writer by this time next year.

    My short term goal is to improve my writing and write a lot more hubs this year. I have set a target for myself to write at least 4 hubs a week when I'm not working. My long term goal is to make a living from writing someday.

    Honestly? Long term, I would love to earn enough money from my writing to work full time. To put this into perspective, I live a modest life. Currently, I'm earning just over minimum wage at my day job. So, when I say that I want to live off of my writing income, I don't need a lot. For me, writing (and publishing) is addictive. I've always got a story or two brewing in my mind that I'm just dying to put on paper!

    Our long term goal is to show that text can carry twice the emotion of pictures. It's always so insulting to be told that my team shouldn't bother with writing, because a picture is worth a thousand words. Words aren't cheap toys. The written language is an art, and it can't be substituted with images. *ahem* lol Getting back on topic, we don't care about profit, we just want to teach the world what words were meant to do.

    I am doing this because I have always enjoyed writing  since I was in school but I wouldn't mind making a living from it if it got to that stage.When we  were given a topic to write an essay about,I always wished I could go two pages beyond the limit but that is just how much I enjoyed creative writing ,it doesn't necessarily mean what I wrote made sense (to my teacher)  :-)
    
    I hope to be able to help children who have a phobia for English change their minds and be able to understand better and write creatively someday .I volunteer at a creative writing centre set up by one of the famous Irish authors,Roddy Doyle.The centre teaches creative writing to primary and high school children for free and it is amazing to see how smart today's children are.I like it more when it is the 1st  or 2nd class sessions,They are so little,innocent yet so creative but examples  of their characters are usually around Burnt Toast,a man who was half a horse and half a fish ,or cacti etc

    My short term is to refine my writing skills and to try and get as much constructive criticism as possible to help with that.  In the long term, I would like to publish a book of poetry and a novel would be nice.  I just don't seem to have the direction or attention span for a novel.  One day, I would like to teach as a creative writer.
