   Exactly! Just like he did the past 4 years. I mean, we're practically living in a third world country compared to 2008.
   
   The stock market didn't jump back from 8k to over 13k. We're not seeing consistent job growth every month compared to hundreds of thousands of jobs being lost each month when the President first took office. We're not finally witnessing a rebound of the housing market.
   
   Every day our airports, seaports, and public spaces are being bombarded by terrorist attacks.
   
   Obama has signed into law a plethora of bills to silence our speech, take away our guns, and limit our existence to a meager proletariat.
   
   If his first term is any indication of the next four years, it's definitely Doomsday part two. Doomsday to the Nth power. *palmface* You're on the Internet, no excuse to hide under a rock.

   Yes I am very glad and part of that reason is perfectly demonstrated by this question and the answer, the illogical hatred, it's not "we disagree" it's rabid hate an if Romney had won the hard right would have assume most Americans felt the same way and agree with their ideas which the vast majority do not.
   
   I was not impressed by Obama an voted their party but of the two choices he is clearly the best, the economy is recovering, fewer Americans are killed around the world than have been in a very long time (in my eyes the best mark of good foreign policy) and Obama is actually the candidate that represents the right to choice in personal decisions like marriage and abortion and Romney who represents the totalitarian state deciding who one can love and forcing women to give birth against their will.

   Yes, definitely,  because whoever was elected will get credit for the upswing in the economy which all indicators are pointing to.  President Obama deserves that accolade when the time comes because, in my mind,  he embodies the epitome of Rudyard Kipling's poem: "If you can keep your head when those about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you.  If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you and make allowance for their doubting too... If you can wait and not be tired by waiting. Or being lied about and still don't deal in lies. Or being hated, don't give way to hating, and yet don't act too good, nor talk too wise.  If you can walk with kings and keep your virtue or talk with crowds nor lose the common touch..." He is a brilliant, measured man, and I'll go with brilliant and measured any day of the week.

   I have never been more disappointed by the actions of the American people.  The outcome clearly shows where we have come to as a country.  History will record this as fatal mistake for the nation....if there is anyone of moral character left to record history in any truthful manner.  By all that is right, the man should be impeached for his handling of Benghazi.  At the present, I am wondering if it is even a topic of discussion in Washington.  The actions of the far left in trampling on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights will only get worse.  Ours system of checks and balances has already been tested and basically failed in many ways to the glee of the far left.  Obama, the Marxist, now has four more years to work at dismantling what it took over 200 years to build.  All he really has to do is break the financial back of the middle income earners and its over...the enslavement begins.  Though Americans may be acquiring higher education in greater numbers, we are not getting any smarter as a nation.  ~WB

   No, I'm not glad Obama won for many reasons. An Obama presidency means more government, less freedom and more debt but despite all this I will support him as our president to the best of my ability. Personally I believe the president to be a nice man with a good family, whose ideas for America are tragically misguided.
   
   I anticipate a good deal of hardship coming to America as a result of its choosing a foolish path for the next four years. But I optimistically believe America will learn from its mistakes and later choose freedom over European style socialism and government oppression!

    No I am not.  I agree with what you said about the economy and national security.  I am frankly shocked the American people would reelect this man.  I'm afraid we have passed the threshold that Alexis de Tocqueville described as when "voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy."  Perhaps the GOP can make large gains in the mid-terms in 2014 and, if the situation is as bad as I think it will be in 2016, the Democrats will be swept out of office.  The question is, will what's left be worth saving?

    I understand that the conservatives are upset that all of the sudden they are "losing their country," but those people are just not attentive enough to realize these things without a concrete image of an Obama and Democratic Senate.
    
    If they were attentive enough they would've realized that politics is only the surface of much deeper social phenomena, and they wouldn't have been shocked.
    
    The America that your grandparents knew is already slipping away, as it has been for decades.
    
    But the defenders of that America were also in that deadly, toxic stage of sleepiness, apathy, and tolerance that has been a classic stage in the decline of empires like Rome.
    
    Take, for instance, Donald Trump. The guy was freaking out the other day about it. Michele Bachmann said that she couldn't BELIEVE that the majority of the country voted for Obama.
    
    It is these people -- these Republican elites -- who are living in a fantasy world, created BY THEIR WEALTH, where they can't possibly comprehend why the masses would be against free markets or why people don't believe in libertarian ideas like they do (because the average American -- of any race and religion -- cannot simply buy their way into a nice neighborhood and take command of their destiny like Mitt Romney, the finance man).
    
    Many minorities voted based on race and loyalty to the liberal establishment, and may white middle-class folks voted based on their scorn for Mr. Money Bags.
    
    Now, this situation was set up long before the election ever happened.
    
    It is the Republicans' fault for never getting it.
    
    I got it a long time ago. And although I don't like the new America either, at least a few other enemies didn't get their way: the bankers, Wall St., and the Middle-East war lobby.
    
    At least I can be happy about that.

    Yes and no. I wish Obama would take out the University of Phoenix because that school is ruining student lives by driving students into debt, ruining their credit, and leaving students with a worthless, unaccredited degree, if the student does graduate. Students unable to pay off their student loans get their loans paid off by tax payer monies. Since the school produces worthless products, why have the school in operation to begin with? All that tax payer money can be used for legitimate reasons and not be wasted on a useless product and unfortunately, a University of Phoenix degree is a useless product since the damn school has a stock ticker symbol on Wall Street.

    The Pendulum always swings back and forth, and if Obama does swing the Pendulum too far in one direction, it will just come back in the other direction with that much more force... eventually.
    
    This is what I believe will occur during his next four years... businesses will push harder than ever now, to move their operations overseas.  Obama plans on increasing taxes, and increasing regulations, and supporting bigger government and unions... NONE of which attracts business to come here, but does make it imperative for them to move out.
    
    Obama will downsize the Military significantly, the fleets we have will shrink, and this will occur at the precise time China becomes the leading global economic power and starts putting its own aircraft carrier fleets... British Navy has put the aircraft carrier HMS Invincible up for sale on an eBay-like website... and we will likely do the same.
    
    The Chinese are already manufacturing their own Stealth fighters, and warships, they can hasten their transition by buying British and American ships that are being decommissioned because of the draw down... I expect this is one of the transitions that will happen without hardly any media coverage in the U.S.
    
    Tonight we go to bed with America as the #1 World Economy and #1 World Power... when we wake up four years from now, we'll probably be #3 or #4... and China will have taken the lead role on the world scene... it will be interesting to see where things lead from there... but I imagine fuel and food costs will continue their dramatic rise, as we have experienced the past few years... as we become just one more country supplying China's appetite for resources, and less of a consumer nation ourselves.
    
    What will happen... is Medicare, Welfare, Social Security... all these issues many people side with the Democrats for will be drastically (and I mean drastically) cut when Obama's reign is over four years from now, and we have maxed out our National debt, and China has moved ahead of us in the world, and neither China, nor Saudi, nor anyone else will be willing to support our avarice and idiotic spending any longer.

    Overall, I am glad he won. Yes there are some things that he proposes that I don't like (I really do not like Obamacare). But because of thing like Obamacare, I feel that Obama cares more about the majority of the American people than Romney. I just got an overall bad feeling from Romney. To me, he didn't seem like the type of guy that I would want as President.
    
    If Romney was President, could he have fixed the economy like he said he would? Personally, I don't think he could have. We will never know. All candidates make so many promises and many are not followed through or they take more than 4 years to accomplish. Can we really believe in some of the things they say? Of course not. It's impossible.
    
    But what I know is that the country is not entirely run by one man. The President needs support. And over the past few years, I believe that Obama has not received that support from the Senate and House.
    
    The Senate is mostly Democrat but the House is majority Republican. I feel that this has been an issue. The Republicans have not worked with Obama and vice versa. The Senate and the House have not worked together as well. They need to collaborate and do what is best for this country. The government will fail us if they don't (hence what has happened in the past few years). We will start seeing changes when this happens, and hopefully it will happen soon.
    
    What will fix the economy? I don't know for sure. I know is that the middle class is shrinking. There are more wealthy/rich people or more poor people. We probably need to do something like higher taxes for the rich and decrease government spending. But understand that I know the basics of politics and I am not 100% sure how it all works (who really does anyway?).
    
    These are just my thoughts on what is going on. I vaguely follow politics and these are just my opinions. I know that they may not be right or wrong and everyone has their own. But the election is over. There is nothing else we can do other than working together and hope for a good 4 years from our President and Government.

    Yes I am glad he won! And you have the right to your opinion. But all the negativity is so tiresome. The majority of people complaining the loudest are angry white men.
    
    What is it they all are really afraid of? 
    
    That women and minorities will have a say so in how this country is run?
    
    That we have a problem with letting our neighbors starve or die from lack of decent medical care?
    
    That we don't want to bury our children or get them back in pieces after they have been sent to fight in some war that means crap to anyone except the war mongers who want to profit?
    
    That what you call the American way of life might not be seen the same by all?
    
    That a same sex couple, someone black, Hispanic or Asians might move in next door to you?
    
    That you can't control our reproductive organs?
    
    That you can't demand we worship or not the way you do?
    
    That you might have to chip in a few bucks on taxes?
    
    What is it really that drives people to be so negative in a time when if we should all be looking forward and trying to figure out how to come together not run to different corners for some battle to the death. Was this battle for the Whitehouse not enough do you all not need the same break from this tiresome rhetoric and doomsday scenario.
    
    I am sure you all can survive four more years of President Obama you survived the last four, and I doubt very seriously the yoke of socialism will be strangling you before the next four are over..

    Good question, Yes I am glad he won, Even though President Obama has had his moments of infamy. I think He was better suited then Mitt Romney. He may understand money. But, that's all he knows. At least president Obama is trying to understand the people. President Obama may not be the president everyone wants, He's the one we need.
    
    I don't think he plans on making our society in a socialist country. I have a bad feeling though. that someone inside closed doors, or  small group inside the government office wants him too. I guess it determines on who's right, or who's wrong. I guess we'll just have to find out.

    The Corporate Party agenda is the destruction of America and reallocation of its resources toward their global agenda. They already have their European Union and the Euro. Soon, they hope to have the North American Union with its Amero. Already, legislation has opened up the links between Canada, USA and Mexico. Already, pundits are lauding the idea of the Amero as a replacement for the dollar. Already, Africa is an effective block, with the major hold-out, Libya, effectively quashed from starting its own currency threat to the Rothschild Central Bank presence. Libya was one of the last to resist the parasitic installation of such a debt-based "system."
    
    The government-corporate hegemony has already tested the limits of their brazen powers -- giving bailouts to criminal bankers, allowing trillions to be siphoned off to foreign banks through our very private Federal Reserve "system." Obama has bypassed Congress on matters of war and has gone directly to the UN for "permission." The NDAA gives the government even more power to strip the individual citizens of their rights -- indefinite detention without charges, attorney, trial or phone call. Obama has his "Kill List" which includes Americans, setting the precedent for murder by Executive Order. And it's now a felony to protest what the government is doing.
    
    Step-by-step, the Constitution has been shredded and people remain either clueless or distracted by the false dichotomy presented to them by the Corporate Party media propaganda machine.
    
    For some, the only way to shrug off the yoke of tyranny would have been to elect a Ron Paul or Gary Johnson to the White House, but I seriously doubt they would've lasted more than a few months. Likely, they would've been gunned down like Bobby Kennedy before the election, if they'd had half a chance.
    
    The only way to shrug off the yoke of tyranny is to boycott the Corporate Party in all its myriad forms.
    
    Shut off the TV, the radio, the magazine subscriptions and the movie theater visits. Stop buying packaged food and buy fresh, farmers' market produce. Stop buying gasoline as much as possible; bicycle or walk. Bank at a local credit union; avoid the Big Corporation banks.
    
    Your dollars speak. Bring down the Corporate Party hegemony by depriving them of your dollars and your participation. Don't believe their fear-mongering
