Do you know something? What Hub do I read to find this answer? Did you invent a time machine?

I sure would love that.  That is one phase of our lives which is the best - no worries, no tension, no work.  Just play and relax what more can you ask for.  Are you offering some kind machine or potion that allows one to do that? :-)

Yes, definitely. It was fun being a kid and not to worry about anything. I just have my own little world, play with my toys, and be contented with that. big_smile

No I would not like to go back there.....But would like to go back to my 20's. Childhood for me was not all that happy.

I had a great childhood, great parents, great family - the whole thing; and I was pretty much a happy kid.  Still, ABSOLUTELY NOT!  I'd never want to be a kid again.  There's too many people in this world who don't respect and/or don't understand kids.  To me, even under the best of circumstances, childhood isn't a great thing.  I'll take my bills over being a child any day.

In fairness to my parents (who, of course, worked hard to give me a great childhood), my theory is that it was having that great childhood and such great parents that made me more than ready to be happy to have adult responsibilities, and have no wish to go back and re-live childhood.

Is a bean green? Yes of course!

I wish I could go back to 8 yrs old.

I see some hubbers saying No,but I would the world was more carefree and relaxed. Not as many angry, mean and cold-hearted people.

911 changed the world in so many ways. The world was a better place back then.

Crime and terrorism have made the world today a scary place growing up in the 70's,80's and 90's wasn't as scary.

Of course not! I barely survived my childhood and teenage years once, I wouldn't take the chance of doing it all over again smile

I would go back and be a kid again if I was going back to the same years as when I was a kid. I wouldn't want to be a kid in these years it's a lot harder I think for the kids today. They have a lot more pressures and more things to worry about than kids from years ago. There is so much more violence and bullying all around them today. We had it when we were young too. but not like it is now.

Yes I would.   The reason is there are some things I did not do when I was younger.   While I enjoyed the chance to play and do things that other kids do, I wanted to be able to be on television, like on the Mickey Mouse club.   I have the talent, but my parents said no, and I just would have love the chance to prove it.

You said that a child does not have to work.  True, but for me, If I have been given a chance to do that, it would have been an extention of play for me, because I enjoyed my dance classes and my music lessons.  These are things I asked to do, not made to do, and there is a difference.

I will love that chance because i had a great childhood with great memories, with no worries, what a marvelous time that was. used to play with friends all the time after school. Parents care me and also i love them alot. Always stood first in the class. what a great time i have spent in past.

If 21 is considered a kid, I'd take it. There are a few things I would do over and 21 would be a good starting point.
