Who is Jesus calling on in the eleventh hour while on the alledge cross?
According to the bible in the eleventh hour he cries out " Eli, Eli sabatama" translated means My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me.
So, he was allegedly on a cross? That painting of the Crucifix is him on an alleged cross? How does that differ from an actual cross? I am confused. Oh, and to answer the question, I'm just guessing here, of course, but, I'm going to say......God!
A painting of something does not make it factual, and if people believe he is god why would he call on god confused.
God confused? Is that his entire name? I really don't know what's going on here....
The crucifixion is the symbol of God's union with man. For God to become man, he must forget he is God. Once that is accomplished, God sleeps the sleep of death in Golgotha (the skull) until it awakens in man as man (the birth from above). The crucifixion has nothing to do with a literal wooden cross that a flesh and blood man was nailed on; such an event would be completely meaningless. There is a reason Jesus refers to himself as the Son of Man, even though the story goes that his father is Jehovah. That is because there was no person called Mary. Man, in a universal sense, is Mary. The womb of Mary is the skull of Man.

How can we understand Jesus' use of the word "hate" when his message and ministry were about love? When Jesus said "if anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters..." (Luke 14:26) was he actually calling for hatred?
