Yes we do, but mostly for the self. Nine times out of ten it's not what others have done. It is the "thoughts" about what they have done. In most cases, nothing has happened but a thought or feeling has passed through the mind, if nothing physical has happened. So there is no need to forgive others since they haven't done anything. They may have had an intention. But there is no power outside of our own mind. So we need to forgive ourself for thinking the wrong thoughts and blaming our moods and reactions on others' behavior. For most people it is much easier to forgive the other person, even though it is an illusion in the mind. Because they don't realize that the true problem only exsits as a thought in the mind. No where else. Without those thoughts, what is there? Nothing.

    Yes, of course we do.

    But what is forgiveness?

True forgiveness is an act of creation. It is a spiritual act; not a mental or physical act.

True forgiveness is an act of love, unconditional and infinitely abundant.

True forgiveness is an act of utter humility.

True forgiveness is an act of perfect responsibility. When we take 100% responsibility for all that happens to us, then we can no longer be a victim. There is also no room for blame. When we take such full responsibility, we are doing as the Father would have us do. We are once again walking with the Father. And we are also following Christ's example.

Forgiveness is true love from the heart. God is live and whosoever have love have god

Yes, we do.  We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, as a result, we need forgiveness from God.  The Scriptures also teaches us that  if we confess our sins, He [the Lord] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So again, I say yes. We need forgiveness for eternal forgiveness, and forgiveness for daily forgiveness.
