    Do you fear God? Why?

Because when my soul is recalled back to his world, he has the power to put me in the turmoil etc. of darkness, send me to hell of some kind, keep me away from my friends forever, not allow me to have another life somewhere, sometime... Need I go on?

Love and fear are on the opposite edge of the spectrum.

I am inspired to say that God prefers that we chose to love him than fear him. This contradicts everything fear based religions say.

If you see God, you will want to run towards him. He will hug you  and show you his love. It is the best place for us. Whatever you have done or how bad you have been, he will fix you up. I am not suggesting we do bad things now.

Remember, Jesus used the prodigal-son parable to teach that God will always be waiting for us to return and is eager to take care of us. Even if we were wrong. Even despots will be transformed by God loving presence. Again this image of God is too grand and magnificent for any fear based religion to accept.

Therefore I do not fear him, but enjoys his presence within me
    .
Therefore I would suggest to you do not fear God, but love him.
Jesus has told us how to do this.

Fear more on the consequences of your actions. God has written the rules both in the physical and spiritual universe.
What you create will come back to you whether good or bad. This is the rule of cause and effect which is applicable throughout the universe.

But God will not punish his creation. To punish one's creation is insanity or a sign of an imperfect creator. God is neither insane or imperfect, but merely the supreme observer of our choices and their consequences.

He have given us free will, which means he will not punish us.
However, we should be aware of what we create and the choices we make. He prefers that we make choices that will benefit us and not hurt us.

I want to be honest as far as possible throughout my life. I will never think to do harms to other people and living beings. So I think I don't need to get fear about God.
