Religions preach sin .... but why these folks commit crimes..... and then blame it on "God".... Atheists gotta be better.... take responsibility.

    Gotta read this horrible story:

    http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/08/28/cal … ef=topnews

"the Creator has given me the ability to speak in the tongue of angels in order to provide a wake-up call that will in time include the salvation of the entire world."

commiting crimes in God's name is not a paradox, it's a fact. Since the begining, God himself commited crimes in his own name. Read the Bible !
And what does the link has to do with the OP ?

Gotta read the link... this crazy guy says "God" talks to him... makes him act. smile

"Garrido's blog entries are posted by "THEMANWHOSPOKEWITHHISMIND." He refers to "God's Desire," which is a church based out of his home in Antioch, according to CNN affiliate KCRA of Sacramento."

I read the link. I thought the thread was about  massive crimes commited in the name of God by peoplein their senses, not about a nutter believing God talked to him.  and the crime was only abducting

Ok cool.... in Schindler's list movie... a man who saves one person saves the whole humanity.... extend the logic... a man who commits a crime against one family (not just the girl) commits a crime against whole humanity. smile

Many presume to do much in the name of a god.
    They will give an account.
    Just as we all.

Give an "account"... but to whom.... the power within all of us (our inner consciousness) ... or external "God"... and is that God gonna be Jesus, Allah, Budha or Krishna.... too many unanswered questions. smile

Why think about an account at all? Just do good from the love inside you Jon, like you do here and count all the good deeds as gifts to yourself! That is the source of that warm glow we're lookin for! smile
