You ask, "How R U doing Today?" Will U listen to their response?

    You pass bye someone and blurt out "How are you today?"  Now will you listen to there response or did you just say it in passing and not meant it?

    Of course, smile.  I don't ask unless I want to know and want to talk to them.  I generally just say "hi."

      "Hello Lita!"  Have a great night! Thanks for your input and I have to agree that all states differ when it comes to greetings.  For instance down in Texas we say Howdy, How're you doing? Way to much sometimes and take it with a grain of salt.
