   What bra style do you think is the most ridiculous and/or uncomfortable?
   
   And which style do you feel is generally the most becoming and comfortable to wear? I'm asking on behalf of a friend that wants to be a lingerie designer, so thanks much for your feedback!

   Hey Beth...I'm wearing the exact same bra right now. My bra came with a matching hat. .Actually this bra looks a bit uncomfortable. but hey..the model seems to like it.

      You have a classic "cones" bra? Cool! I've never had one myself; my Mama says they were highly uncomfortable back in the day.

   I am of the opinion that all bras are uncomfortable. But I can't pull off the no-bra look as they are, uh, not small. SO, since I must, I wear exclusively push-up bras. They just look better and I feel better with extra boost. Underwire is a huge must for me as well... I like feeling like things are a bit more structured.
   
   I'm not sure about most ridiculous, though the one in the photo looks rather stupid. I tried nursing bras when my daughter was little but they were awful.

      Aime, I have to have underwires, too. I remember nursing bras, too; they certainly are not made with much fashion sense, that's for sure!

   For me, push up bras with underwire are particularly ridiculous, because I end up looking like I'm resting my chin in my cleavage. I don't need them pushed up. I need them pushed down! I mostly wear sports bras for everyday, because I work at home, and just need something to hold the girls steady.

   Usually I don't wear bras unless it is an emergency or a requirement.  I feel quite comfortable going braless even though I am well endowed-let them rip and be free.  I find underwire bras to be the most uncomfortable.  I felt so pinned up in such bras.  I find the sports bras quite comfortable, they are like wearing no bras at all.  The sport bras also provide immense support to my back.

      I feel squished in sports bras, but working out in a push-up bra is a disaster. Bethperry, you should get your friend to develop some sort of hybrid.

   I like to wear sports bras all the time, even though i am an ancient granny! I am pretty active, and like to go out to fitness classes when i can, so always wearing a sports bra makes life easier, EXCEPT the sports bras being sold these days must be designed by someone who sits on a couch all day. Have they ever tried wearing the ones with a zip up the front? Agony after a couple of hours. Or how about the "pull over your head" type? Have they ever tried taking those off when you're sweaty after exercise? Or when putting a fresh one on when you're damp from the shower? You could do yourself a serious mischief, pulling a muscle. The racer back type show your bra straps under a normal top and they are NOT supportive after a few hours, they make your back ache. My preferred style are those with a back opening and preferably NOT under wired. All my clothes are machine washed, I am NOT into hand washing anything if I can get away with it, so under wired, no thanks, the wires tend to start pushing holes in the cloth and poke out - ouch.

   I am tempted to answer this question, though I have never required to use one, but in principle of usage terms and its benefits the sports one is the best. Apart from it the ones that support both ways back and front are the best ones to use. The rest of them someday or the have side effects.
   What I mean is that it should not be used to show what is not but to support what needs support. The only exception to this principal would be what goes with the dress a person is wearing.

   I think that push-up bras are the most uncomfortable and strapless bras are a close second. My favorite type of bra is a good tee shirt bra. Flattering and comfortable!

   i wear cotton bras, i hate wire or push up bras. I find that Madonna bras are crazy, pointy bras make women look like a bi***
