Can cats see ghosts?
Our cat went from snoozing peacefully to leaping around the room like Jackie Chan. She attacked a mobile phone, my laptop cable, and a TV remote control. We were in our front room, which is always colder than the rest of the house. Could she see a ghost, or have had a bad dream? Cat therapy needed!
A lot of people who believe they live in haunted locations report their pets to be hypersensitive to the supernatural activity. Sometimes dogs and cats, or even wild animals, appear to be tuned in to things that we humans don't notice. This is true in the natural, so it makes sense it might also be true in the supernatural.
However, cats are also insane. My cat sometimes bounds up and down the hall, attacks random things, then runs away and hides like something is after him. We might have a ghost skulking around, but usually I take it to mean he needs more attention so he can burn off some energy. Cats are predators made for short bursts of action, and I think they just need to get it out of their system sometimes.
I dunno about cats. All I know is, when my dog was poorly, she used to stare up the stairs frequently as if she was looking at someone standing at the top. I was so spooked I used to go and take a look, in case a burglar had hidden in the house, but there was never anyone there. After she died, I went for a walk round the lake where I always used to take her, and a dog in the distance raced towards me, stopped a few feet away from me, looked a bit puzzled, then turned and ran back to his owners. I wondered if he saw something I couldn't see. But maybe he just mistook me for someone else - maybe we just want to believe in these things.
i think cats can definitely see things that aren't there. but they are only seeing things in their imagination. remember that cats are insane hunting animals who, because they are domesticated, get a lot of pent up hunting instincts.

Can dogs see ghost or spirits? It was late at night (almost 11p.m.) and I'm still watching a tv show and all of the sudden the dog of our neighbor kept on barking and growling looking at their gate. I tried to look outside but I saw nothing nor heard that someone was there. The barking and growling...

What evidence would you need to believe in ghosts? If you don't believe in ghosts, I'm not telling/asking you to do so. I would just like to know what you would like to see as 'proof' before you'd believe.

Why do cats stare at walls? We've had a few cats that do this, for hours sometimes- just sit there staring or following something along the wall(s) with their line of sight we can't see at all. Does anyone have an idea why a cat does this or what, possibly, their eyes detect that a pair of human...
