What is a good name for a female German Shephard puppy?

We just bought a pure bred German Shephard puppy, but have no idea what to name her.  Our last tow dogs came to us pre-named.  My son wants to call her "Kitty", can you imagine calling a dog "Kitty", especially when there are 6 cats in our household?  We are looking for a powerful name that does not end with the "Y" sound, most of our pets names end with a "Y/IE" spelling.

Adelle! It's Germanic (haha...German Shepherd...Germanic...) And it doesn't end with Y/IE. It means "noble". Just an idea, good luck choosing a name for your cute girl!

I'm thinking of what she will look like when she is grown.I think if I had a female German Shephard, I'd call her Ava! Beautiful and Strong!

Bärchen (German term of endearment meaning 'little bear')
    Engel (German for 'angel')
Schatz (German term of endearment meaning 'treasure')
Alsatian (another word for German shepherd)
    Edelweiss (A white, mountainous flower)
    Ada (or Ava or Eda)

How about Shelbie? That seems like a fitting name for some reason.

I have a couple.  First choice is Tonka as in the toy truck which means big & strong, which she will be one day or you can take if from the American Sioux Indian name meaning "great".  My mother's Pug is named Tonka and that name suits her perfectly, just like a truck.  She has similar coloring to your pup.

But since she's German, what about Eva, Lina, Strudel, Opal or Pearl?
