Dogs, of course. But I have had both and loved cats as well. But for me, dogs calm me, where as cats stress me out.
I have both dogs and cats but I am a dog person. My dog knows when I am upset and she tries to comfort me. And she loves to play.
My cat mainly sleeps all day, but when he wants attention he is the cutest cat ever.
Still though I am a dog person.
I usually loves dogs the more as it keeps secure our house and follow us.
Its a never ending debate. Cats and dogs are both cute and good pet to have. I like dogs. They are better at securing the house.
I'll be the first to say cats (and yes I have had dogs) :-) Cats get a bad rap of being independent and cold but mine are far from that. Cats are extremely intelligent and have a memory much greater than dogs. My cats follow me around from room to room, they are vocal, they show me what they want, they listen, they fetch and best of all they never stink, drool or bring in fleas from outside (they are inside cats.)
Cats, because they don't jump in my lap and lick my armpits like my roommate's one dog does. Truthfully, though, I've always wanted a sugar glider, and I have had snakes and iguanas.

Are you a CAT person or a DOG person??I love all animals and adore little kitties when I see them, but there's just something I've always prefered about doggies. So I am therefore declaring myself as a "dog person"! Maybe it's because my family has always had dogs and no cats... So what...

Are you a cat person or a dog person?I live with my 3 cats and I know that I am definitely a cat person. I am told that dog are loyal to their masters who they regard as King, while cat owners are slaves to their cat who think that they (the cats) are King.

We had dogs until three of our older dogs died around the same time. Because they were incredibly expensive to board and we travel some, we decided to try cats. We are now hooked.

Cats or Dogs? Many people describe themselves as "A dog person" or "A cat person" Why do you think that these people feel that there has to be a distinction?
