Rusty is so Adorable.   I love those pictures.
It is so true that pets suffer from anxiety.
Eachbtime when I pack or unpack a box, my Bubba gets nervous.
He runs to another room.  He paces like he's going mad.
He hates it when I hang up curtains or when workers are here.
My other one resorts to hiding.
Some people don't believe she even exists.   No one has seen her.

Each evening though...everyone is calm and happy. They seem to relax & know I'm here & all is fine.

    Great article.

Thanks Chitrangada for sharing my article. Pets are an important part of the family. Though we get to destress just by being with them, we often overlook the fact they are also prone to anxiety and stress, just like us. I am glad you liked the information in the article and hope it helps pet parents when they face such issues. Have a great day, stay blessed.

I loved seeing all the photos of your Rusty, and the tips for avoiding anxiety and depression in pets.  Your Rusty reminded me of our first dog, an Irish Setter.  He was such a sweetie!  All of our dogs have always hated fireworks.  I think that is a common cause of anxiety.  We usually always stayed home with them on those days, and played music or had the television on to drown out some of the annoying outside sounds.
Thanks for sharing this article by Vidya, Chitrangada.
