Liz, your article is very interesting and informative. An excellent guide for the tour to Lloyn, France. I got fascinated by the pictures and saved many of them on Pinterest.

I am reading a book titled "The Way to Paradise" a story of a French painter who settles in Polynesia, and his grandmother, a social reformer who tours all over France to uplift the poor and oppressed workers by establishing Workers Unions wherever she travels. It is very interesting. And, now, your article describes the places to visit in Lloyn along with beautiful information and pictures. Thanks, Liz, for sharing your experiences.

Chitrangada, thank you for sharing the link to this article.

Thank you for your comments MsDora. I wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully much of Lyon's impressive architecture survived World War 2.

Thank you for your comment, Pamela. I set out to write a shorter article, but there was so much to write about that the length increased. There is much too that I left out about Lyon.

Thank you for your comment, cam8510. I appreciate you taking the time to read my article. I wish we had visited a traditional bouchon while we were there. I think I assumed from the name of the bistro that we were eating in one. It was popular, so I guess we weren't the only ones to make that mistake. At least it gives us an excuse to return to Lyon.

Thank you so much, Chitrangada for highlighting Liz article. I had lunch in Lyon once with my husband when we drove from Switzerland. We did not see much so this is useful for a future trip.
