What's the worst problem you've encounted whilst sewing...and how did you overcome it?
I've recently made three quarters of my way through a very large quilt...then the bobbin stopped spinning (something to do with the fan belt). I'm curious to hear about your worst sewing complication... from running out of unique fabric before the end of your project - cutting dozens of the wrong size patches - sewing a dress with an upside down nap...share with us your most expensive or most frustrating complications - and the outcome.
Artist-for-hire I took a co-ed home econ class during senior of high school. We sewed. My bar-b-q apron came out fine. My shirt sucked, whoops. It was a casual 3 button surfer type shirt. Everything went wrong.
The motor for the machine stopped working. On examination the wires became disconnected. Fortunately, I did a basic electrical course and was able to repair the problem. Lucky for me!

My sewing machine is locked up, help!! I was sewing today and right after I adjusted the tension to a higher number, it all the sudden locked up.. I slowly turned the manual knob and it freed itself.. so started sewing again and it did okay for a minute and then locked up again except this...
