I guess it all depends on how old your computer is and what OS it is.

Even though I have Adobe Premiere Pro, I typically use Windows Movie Maker (which comes free with Windows) to edit simple videos.  In the past, I have also used the free AVS Video Editor.  Best of luck with your project!

I also use AVS Video Editor. I now have 2 laptops and the MS XP is for fun such as video editing but it's a bit older than the laptop I use for everything else that has Xubuntu OS.

I used Wondershare Video Editor, because i'm the editor of this editor. wink (It's free for me.) If you need some editor free, i can use Windows Movie Maker, you know 9 of 10 use this software.

Hey everybody!! I just discovered OpenShot! It's free! and now no longer bound by the parameters of AVI 640 x 480. Now able to take a panoramic that is 12416 x 1856 and scale it down to 7225 x 1080 in order to fit the 1920 x 1080 format of HD1080i in a mp4 container for a pan and zoom here at http://hub.me/agJxA
