What is better gift? shawl or baby blanket?
I have 12oz of cozy wool (50% wool and 50% acrylic). A friend of mine has recently shifted in my neighborhood. I am confused whether I shall gift a shawl to her or make a baby blanket for her daughter.
Baby blanket, They are lovely handmade and don't have to be just for babies.
baby blankets are more useful than shawls and there are so many beautiful patterns out there.
A shawl can also be a baby blanket. Babies don't know the difference. Also, remember that sometimes when a baby comes into the picture, people focus so much on the baby, the mom gets put aside. Bad enough her hormones are out of whack, and she gained weight, people are saying how cute the baby is. lol She may want something all to herself. I would say the shawl. It's a personal gift just for her.
