I love making homemade gifts. Their something from the heart and in my opinion are more thoughtful. My family love my homemade gift baskets and personalized items.

I love making gift for people. It's both a great way to show appreciation, and a chance for creative expression...and it allow flexibility in tailoring what we make to exact specifications.  I remember one time when my husband and I first started dating, he mentioned that he'd love to find a tie that had a coffee coup on it, with the smoke from the coffee rising up the length of the tie...so I painted one for him. :0)

Often, I design my own greeting cards, ornaments, bookmarks, etc. :0)

I love making gifts, it's cheaper, more fun and feels better to give. Just don't forget to put down time and effort into your gift, nobody want a bad drawing that you put down a few minutes to do....atleast not from a adult big_smile

I've made my own presents for people in the past, for both Christmas and birthdays! I am generally a very artsy/crafty person, and I love making things. Plus it often costs less too, and the person appreciates it more, since you took time and effort to make it smile
