What type of craft do you like to do? (knitting, crocheting, painting, etc)
I love to experiment. I do quite a bit of painting, but I also really enjoy crocheting, and making jewelry and polymer clay.
I love drawing and sculpting. Creativity makes me feels great!
I love scrapbooking and creating crafts with my grandkids. I also enjoy crocheting but it has been so long I actually had to get out a book to remind myself how to do it. I also like to make leather journals but haven't for a long time--need to get back to it.
Oh wow, making journals sounds really interesting! I've seen some handmade notebook tutorials online, and I hope I can try it out sometime soon.
It is a lot of fun and feels good to have something you made in your hand. The hardest part for me is getting the leather cut exactly to my measurements - I screw it up half the time!
I like to recycle any kind of wastes into something new and have added value regardless the material types. It's so challenging and gives me satisfaction if I manage to make one and people like it.
I enjoy knitting and sewing. I also love decorative painting and cross stitch, but haven't done either of those in quite a while.
That is a great question! I really had to think about this....It really depends what I am "into" at the time.. Lately, I've really been getting into making fabric flowers like for wreathes, brooches, headbands, etc... I hand sew them but it's just a basic stitch and then add embellishments for the middles. In the past, I've gotten into jewelry making using beads, resin, etc. I also love working with polymer clay. I hope to one day learn how to knit and crochet I think my favorite thing of all is working with recycled materials (or things people usually throw away) and making cute crafts out of them.
Upcycling denim is my most favorite thing to do ever! It's forgiving and always "in."
I have callouses from knitting so much.
But I also like making jewelry, crochet, sewing, polymer clay, finger weaving, bead-work...I like to try just about everything.
Any kind of craft work is exciting for me. I do paint--oil painting, fabric painting, batik painting and all kinds of collage work. I also love knitting, crochet, embroidery and stitching.

Which is the easier craft? Knitting or crochet?I have recently learned to do both, but find crochet to be more forgiving and quicker. Because I haven't yet learned to read patterns correctly, I have done several projects "freestyle," so continue to favor crochet. What are your thoughts?

Which is easier to learn: knitting or crocheting?I want to learn how to make winter accessories, little things like scarves and mitts. I will be teaching myself using books and you tube videos.

I'm considering learning how to knit, but I'm wondering how it compares to crochet - easier or harder? quicker or slower?I've been crocheting on and off for years and I'm not great but I can follow a pattern - I've done some baby clothes, lots of scarves, many throws and blankets. When...

Now that fall is here, its time for me to dig out my knitting and crocheting. Yesterday I was at my LYS and the new yarns for the season are beautiful. Now that I'm on a strict budget, I didn't purchase any of my favorite yarns such as the Alpaca or the alpaca and silk blends. I...
