Over the past year, I have written about HubPages from various perspectives. Here is the collection of hubs that relates to my HubPages experience. I hope it is useful for beginners on HubPages.

HubPages is a great online publishing site. It is easy to use and it gets recognition and added traffic from Google search engine. I don't know how they do it but it's great for the hubber community. There are some excellent and creative writers here on HubPages. They have a passion for their work and it shows. I also enjoy participating in some of the forum discussions here. Most people are very respectful of opposing beliefs and opinions. That's what a forum is about. A place to have civil discussions on big ideas and life meanings and purpose.

I also admire the fact that all topics are on the table. There seems to be no political correctness that stifle controversial topics as long as they are conducted with respect. It is sites like this that will go a long way to improve communications in a diverse population. The free exchange of ideas is the pinnacle of democracy. Let the best idea win on their merits.

The HubPages Team

Kudos to the small staff at HubPages. They are doing a great job keeping this application running and responding to hubbers. Keep up the great work!

My experience here on HubPages have been mostly positive. Having been on Squidoo for 5 years prior, I must admit HubPages is a better environment for writers. I can't comment on the writing for profit aspect of HubPages because I don't do it for that reason. As with any new platform on the web, there are going to be some growing pains and periodic setbacks. I wish HP all the success it deserves and I am happy to be part of this community.

I plan to append to this Hubbook as more information comes to light.
