I think it depends on the nature of the comments. If it is someone who I am pretty sure hasn't read the hub "good hub", I go ahead and publish it. They might have read it, and it raises the activity on the hub.
If they are marketing or writing something that is off topic, I won't publish it, and will generally ignore them.
If they are talking about the topic but disagreeing with my viewpoint in some extreme manner, I tend to become unsure. On the one hand, I welcome people with other opinions, and like the increased activity on my hub. On the other hand, if the person is just writing an extreme opinion to argue and are very off base, I don't want to confuse my readers with incorrect facts, especially on a basic how to hub.
