How Many Hubs Do You Write Daily?

There are various answers to this question. Some state one a week whilst others say one a day. What's your view?

Ooops, daily? I wrote 31 hubs in 8 months. It says I write about 0.125 hub per day. Much slow and I think it will be even slower sad

I started off writing one a day, but have since eased off, instead employing a three day rule. Whereby, once I've published a hub, I have up to three days to publish another. Its a great way to keep you motivated.

That's a good rule you've implemented there JKenny. I work along similar lines, researching work in between for my next hub. I aim for every other day though! I like to keep the momentum going!

One a day is too much, unless you are a full-time writer with lots of experience.

To be successful in today's tough internet environment, a Hub needs to be a well-crafted, information-rich, long article (over 400 words, preferably over 800, up to1,500), with lots of other media to keep the visitor on the page (Youtube videos, polls, photos (make sure they're legal), etc).  That all takes time.

Besides, you shouldn't be concentrating all your efforts on one site, unless it's your own.

I like your response Marisa. However for Hubpages I do feel that 1,500 words is a wee bit too long even with other media attractions on the page. But agree with your points on a hub being well-crafted and information rich.

I aim for one hub a day or three to four each week. What helps is that I keep writing. To clarify a bit, I write hubs almost everyday. I don't publish each one on that particular day. As long as I'm writing consistently then I am fine.

I don't go by a schedule, but so far I have averaged one hub about every 5 days.

That's a fair gap between writing hubs. I think everyone should find a schedule that fits in with their lifestyles.

Not as many as I should! I've over-extended a little and try to write on websites that I actually own in addition to HP. My goal is one every 1-2 days or at least 3 a week, but it hasn't happened that way.

So, probably like a quarter of a hub a day or less (for now).

We all have good intentions to complete tasks or attain goals within a specfied time, but as human nature is, I think the majority of us fail to meet them. So quarter of hub is ok for now!!
